Backdated post. Actual event took place on 11 May 2006.
Weeeee… it’s been a long time since we go partying on a weekday. Reason being, it was a holiday the next day. Hehe… it’s the first time I went clubbing with Jessy too. Haha… so yeah, it’s one of those memorable moments I guess.
Poppy Garden is the chosen place. There was some drama. Like I say before in previous post, this place have the worst service. The waiteress… or I should say coordinator is totally 1.) rude, 2.) they judge you by how you dress, 3.) unfriendly, 4.) not helpful.
Right, we made a reservation for table and by the time we reached there, they say they checked many times and said we never made a reservation. Instead of finding a solution for us, they just left us standing there. I mean, right.. at least give me a back up plan… tell me to wait or what. Nope, all they ever do is, your name is not written there. No reservations were made. But hell, we made a reservation okay. I just couldn’t believe they just left us standing there unattended. They even ask us to give way to others.
It’s not like I don’t want to give way to others but hey, I’m your customer too and I did make a reservation. But then, I learn something new, next time must ask who is the one who is taking the reservation. Arghh… they didn’t even tell us it was ladies night and ladies get to go in without cover charge until we asked. What sort of service is this?
Well, we got in and the people just push us from table to table. Every table they say it was reserved. Even tables without tags they say were reserved. This coordinator ask us to go there and give us a table there… then another one comes and say it was reserved. Not to even mention every waiter just don’t do their work right. We waited so long for someone to bring us our bottle, waited so long for them to bring the ice. Best part is when we need our mixtures, they were all busy again. Totally havoc and unprofessional!
When finally we manage to secure a place for ourselves, we started to party! Yeah, that’s what I like. Stop the dramas man.. Cut it lose and party people! The night was quite okay except for the drama’s before hand.
Right after Poppy, we decided to go eat/drink something as we were exhausted. Obviously me and brian do the eating while Jessy and Gigi do drink. No kidding… I am back at Suzi’s. Seems like my old faithful place. This time around I have Sup Cendawan.
It was nice, with loads… I seriously mean loads of button mushroom. It tasted a lot like Sup Ayam except the fact that it’s not so thick and is sweeter. Yup, the carrots and vegetables makes the soup taste sweet. Yummy.
This is the first time I tried Ikan Bakar at Suzi’s. During dinner time, the place is so packed and full so I was lazy to order something that will take a while to cook and further more so many people. So yeap… it was really a big piece of fish. Totally spicy.. yeap, spicy and a little sourish. Yeah, tasted quite well and very appetizing.
It was a long night, we went back and sleep like piggies after that.
