We manage to locate our chalet, Bala’s Holiday Chalet. It was much more beautiful than I expect it to be. Beforehand, brian did send me a few pictures. Coincidently the next day, I saw a short review about it on TV.
True to the core, the Bala’s Holiday Chalet is one of the oldest colonial building built during the pre-war era and yet still maintain it’s original structure. The building was a former British School and now has been refurbish to capture the original structure and feel of it.
It is a peaceful and quiet place. The place is very cozy and give me this feeling like I am a little girl once again. The moment we arrived we checked in. We upgraded from a Family Room to a Family Suite. Yeah, initially only four of us group in for the trip. So when angeline decided to tag along.. we upgraded.
Well… it’s worth it.. the Family Room offers 2 double bed and cost RM180. The Family Suite have 2 double bed and 1 single bed. The best part, it’s a two story room. Which means the girls get the top floor since it has a double bed and a single bed there that cost RM250.
Yes, I must surely praise our CEO (Chief Event Organizer) Brian, for choosing such a cool location for us to stay. What can I say, it is surely a cool place to stay and a total different experience.
I was elected the treasurer for this trip. Yes, everyone will throw in RM150. So yes, all the expenses, room rates, tol, petrol, food… whatever not is being deducted from the pool.
We then jump in to the tv room. This room is kinda small but cozy. Fully equipt with English like deco and lots of event pictures were being sticked to a board. I am quite amazed with the fireplace they have. Ah.. it makes the room so warm and fun.
Woo.. our stomach is making a lot of noise. It’s just time for dinner! We just gotta eat… eat… and eat…

I guess this journey is far worst than malacca. I was never good with winding road. It makes me want to puke. I have headache… my heart beats so fast as if it’s gonna explode any minute. Worst.. is I kept wanting to know.. how long more to reach.. counting the seconds as it ticks.
Let me off the car. Yes I know I should be sleeping. I am sleeping on the highway from KL to Tapah. But the moment we are 1/4 the journey up the hill… I start to be awaken. With the uncomfortable feeling.
I wasn’t the only one. Angeline face the same problem. At that point… I was like thinking..” WAH… got KAKI!” Right… might sounds abit cruel to think so but well… at least there is someone in the car who understands how I felt.
The moment Brian says Tanah Rata is ahead. I was like…so damn happy as if god had answered my prayers and I will have to kill two chicken, one whole pig (roasted), some cakes and whatever things needed.
Me and angeline quickly jump out of the car to inhale some polluted air. Right.. many think it would be fresh air up there.. but seriously… loads of pesticide content in the air. But yeah.. we walked to the nearest gas station.
Jon, Brian and Gigi kept asking us to eat some sour plum. Which in this case actually is not of my interest. I like sour stuff like tom yam, asam laksa… but sour plum is just not my taste. But yeah… I whack a small packed which seriously does make me feel better that instant… but after that… nah… it didn’t do any good.
We then continue our journey to… our dreamland… our nice little challet!
Other Cameron post:
Backdated event. Actual Event took place at 17 June, 2006.
The long awaited cameron trip post is finally here. Here you go… there is loads and loads of pictures taken… so yeah… I’ll do a step by step tour report. Hahaha…
It all started with a tiring morning. The night before, I attended angeline’s birthday party at Breakers together with gigi. It was a fun night out… except the fact that the party ended late.. around 4ish and then we went mamak. We each reach home around 5ish. Me and gigi and angeline is busy packing our bags for the trip! Last minit as usual 😉
Brian is suppose to come around 6 something. Yeah.. he picked up gigi and angeline then come and pick me up. We all then drop meet up Jon and he drove all of us to breakfast at ss2. It was a nice morning. It’s been a long time since I wake up before the day was bright and eat dim sum. I always love dim sum… and early mornings. I used to remember each time I go back Ipoh, my mum will ask me to sleep early the night before so that I can wake up and eat dim sum. Me being so excited over dim sum will jump to bed early and wish it was early morning in a blink of an eye.
So yeah… when we first reach the dim sum place, it as dark as if it was midnight. Not much people were there… only three other men were sitting next table to us. The blur and not enough sleep version of me forgets to note down where I had the dim sum that day. So yeah… just pictures for you to drool at.
To me the food was just okay… maybe actually it tasted much better but just what’s on my mind is… get in the car and sleep…. BED…. BED…. BED….. sleep~ so yeah…. that spoils some eating mood. But I must say, the hot tea does serve some good to me.
We ate lots of stuff, like.. prawn spring roll (this is good), lo bak kou (white carrot cake), siew mai, fishball, har kau, fung jau (chicken feet), salad prawns and others.
We weren’t there for quite some time, but the drastic changes of brightness on the sky makes me feel as if I have sat there for like 4-5 hours. Sun rise, dim sum, trip… ah…. exciting.. fun… yet tired.
Yes, I need to sleep in the car. Wake me up when we reach!
Goodbye busy town…. Sayonara to KL…. Aloha Came & Run High lands!
I am so excited. It’s been a while since I go up there. Best of all thinking of eating steamboat at cold places. Fog my specs… hehehe.. well I wonder if they do sell mini wipers for my glasses. Eh… Strawberries… eat loads of em…. packs and packs of it…. smell the roses….. buy em all and make brian’s car a flower car. Ermmm…. cut all the thorns on a cactus….. ermmm… I dunno
There are a million things I felt like doing! What else is funto do… Hahaha.. I dunno.. I am only blinded by the strawberries and flowers and of course steamboat which I am still looking forward to.
Seems like fun… it will be fun! How can it not be fun! Yeay…. *excitedly jumps around*. Wait a minit… I not yet pack up
Cameron here I come~
We slept late last night although we initially arrived at the hotel room around 12-ish. Yes, everyone queue up and wait for their turns to bath. Hahaha…. while some busy make coffee, eating some freshly baked pineapple tarts that we bought while walking through Jonker Street while waiting for our food to digest. Well… with all the hoo-hah and what not… we all actually doze to sleep at 2 – 3am.
Obviously I was a dead person by then when no sound or voice could practically wake me up. Yes, nothing.. except for my alarm clock to wake up the next morning. We woke up early to have breakfast complimentary of the hotel. Yeay… see Brian and Gigi’s morning look! *exclusive in velverse* Hehehe.. everyone is too blur to pose and could just give me the “I want more sleep” look. Why you dun get to see my picture? None of them are awake enough to take my morning look 😀 *thank god*
The breakfast wasn’t really great. Maybe it’s the not enough of sleep… but hey… malacca… place with nice food and culture… who needs hotel breakie! We anyhow went down grab something to eat and some coffee and juices. Despite the not-so-okay breakie, the place for us to have our breakie is simply superb. It’s in this garden with a human-made waterfall and lots of chinese feel statues. Which I totally love.
I find the environment very cool… and if someday I could afford a big house.. I would surely want a garden like this where I can have my breakfast there…. put a morning bed and roll around~ Ah… that is life~
Food need time to digest.. yes correcto! So we went walking around. Yes, first time I walk around Malacca streets in the morning. There were loads of people selling antique stuffs. Yeah loads of it, from super old magazines, bottles, bowls to old vinyl records.
We then walk past the oldest temple in the country, the Cheng Hoon Teng temple. Yes, it it believed to be the oldest temple in Malaysia. Built with no nails at all. Not even a single one. However, this temple has been refurbished few years back due to some parts of the temple is falling apart. However, they still try their very best to restore most of the buildings.
Ah… the temple in the morning… it’s simply so quiet and peaceful. Normally this temple is very crowded as it is one of the famous tourist spot as well. Something not to be missed when visiting Malacca. The temple I love to go each time I am in Malacca.
We continue walking from the temple and we came across some cute shops… which weren’t open yet. I wonder what they sell… but well… it doesn’t matter as all we ever do is just walk around and snap pictures here and there. Jon snapped some pictures of me and gigi at the yellow and white stripes background. According to him, it will make us look “thinner”. Yes… I get the hint. Do you?
Hahaha.. there is even this tattoo shop with funky drawings on the wall. On the wall, there is 2 doors. One on the right has this “peace fool” image while on the left, it has this tolet door written “Give piss a chance” with the word “Bush”written to the board on the door. *groovy*
It’s time again to eat. Oooo yeah.. the time has just clocked 10-ish. We all have to continue to eat as Jon dared us that he would bring us to 10 places in Malacca to eat.. but we couldn’t finish. Well… until now, we only eaten our fourth dish. Which is the famous malacca chicken rice ball. This shop is surely some famous shop. On normal days, they have loads of people queing up and it’s seriously hard to get tables around here.
By the way, there is not much chance for you to sit down, chit chat and take your own sweet time. There are loads of people waiting right next to you here and there.. as if rushing you to eat faster. But it’s really worth it. The chili sauce… ah…. I WANT MORE~
Wooo… it’s time to walk around to digest food. Yes, everyone looks tired and restless… yes a result of a food trip. You dun get tired from excessive walking and running around but just eating. Everyone decided to walk around to digest a little. And how could we not walk around the famous Stadhuys and the A’Farmosa. Brian is having a hard time climbing up and down the stairs… yeah… due to body aching from paintball activity the day before. Jon is too tired as he slept quite late. Hahaha.. his old friend in Malacca decided to look for him and he oni reach the hotel around 4-ish which means he have too little sleep.
After a long walk… we decided to stop by a stall. Don’t as me where’s it located. I have no idea. Yes, I am lost! Hahahah… okay.. we went to this small stall and decided to cool down after walking in the hot sun. We ordered the famous cendol! Wooo hooo yummy~
It seems like ayam pong teh is also a famous food by the baba nyonya society. So we decided to give it a go. Yes, this place might not sell the best ayam pong teh, but we just wanna try something special. Haha… it does taste rather different. A very strong garlic and onion taste in the thick and rich sauce.
On our way back to the hotel, we manage to stop by a famous designer shop. The Orang Utan Shop. Hehehe… a shop open by local designer, Charles Cham. Hehe… over at this stall, there were many t-shirts and art being sold. Shirts that potrays much about our country. There were even tons of arts for sale. Which looks brilliant.
Gigi manage to buy some cute tee’s. While I was just looking around. Yes.. arts… malacca… they just gel in so well. Can I stay there like forever?
We were tired! very tired from walking around and eating. No… I should rephrase… tired from walking around carrying a tummy that grew bigger each time we make a pit stop. We then decided to go back to our hotel and pack our stuffs as the check out time is near.
Before we went up and pack our bags, we quickly snap pictures here and there again!
Right after snapping some cool pics around the hotel, we then quickly went up and pack our stuffs. Being real posers, we even decided to jump around and snap some pics before we leave the hotel room. Hehehe… yes that’s right! Pictures.. pictures and more pictures.
We then throw our stuffs in the car and continue to walk to a few galleries. Woo… art galleries is just around. Every corner you turn to… you can never miss those art stuffs. And Malacca is really a place you should go if you want to see loads of art. I can simply call Malacca as Malaysia’s Paris… as you can seriously see loads of art and cultural stuff.
The antiques were simply amazing as well. If only I have my camera with me… I could snap like millions of pictures . It’s okay! I’ve still got my camera phone.
After the walk… we decided to hop in to this cafe called the Coconut House. Unbelieveable, the shop was established since 1985. And has been constantly there. Looking at the floor tiles makes thing just so believeable. The shop got it’s name due to this particular coconut tree growing in the middle of the shop.
Well.. at the first glace of the poster they did… I tot I saw Eason Chan… but well… it wasn’t. The ambient of the shop was very simple. They have simple setting. The tables were quite old looking but it still manage to blend in well with the shop.
On top of it, they have racks of old records. But they somehow did add a modern touch to the shop. They actually had an iMac at their counter. To play some songs and all. I guess this is the place we sat down the longest. Yeah…. we seriously took loads of photos (you can see the extra’s in the next post). We manage to take some panoramic pictures which was fun. Everyone move around here and there to get to be repeated in the pictures as many times as possible.
We each ordered the famous coconut drink (according to Jon). It was okay… except it brings quite a strong milk taste. Yes…. M.I.L.K! Ermmm something that really wasn’t my cup of tea. However the more I drink.. the taste seems to be lesser and lesser and eventually I find it very refreshing and nice. How ironic!
After a long rest at the Coconut House (a very very long rest) we all decided to go to Jalan Kaki Lima and eat Taiwan Mee. Which actually shocked me when Jon suggested. We go all the way to malacca to eat TAIWAN MEE? Haha… well according to Jon, the owner’s wife is a taiwanese and well the signage does write “Taiwan Mee” Hahaha… it is famous for it’s deep fried pork rib noodles and their beef noodles.
I totally love the deep fried pork ribs. But the noodles… okay… I have this weird feeling when I eat noodles that is not black. I mean… I dunno… it gives me this weird feeling each time I eat noodles like this. It’s not really soupy and it’s not really dry…. it’s not black. I dunno… everyone enjoy the noodles. And well.. it’s not that it’s not nice… just… I wasn’t used to eating noodles that…. ermm… looks like noodles. Haha~
We would have continued but everyone is too tired and some were super full! So… we decided to leave the remaining 2 behind and head back to KL as we have another outing to go.
We then head back to KL. We went back and celebrated Evan’s farewell as he will be leaving us to go US for a few months (more details in next posts to come). Yeah… his office sent him over there! How nice! I ALSO WANT!!!
Malacca….. oh malacca…. I will be back soon! To visit the eat more stuffs. Yeah according to Jon, there are loads more stuff that we hasn’t try!
Yes! Yes…in less than 24 hours and we ate 8 of somewhat Jon’s best recommendations. Bravo!!
Backdated post. Actual event took place on 08 April 2006.
Yahoo… the first food trip and road trip with the gang. Ah… it’s been a while. As a matter of fact… it’s been a very long while. I just love the fact of going out in a group, enjoying and happily eating without worries. Yes… food… just what I need to cheer me up.
It’s been a long talk and discussion before this trip actually works. Yeah, everyone is so busy that it has got postponed so many times. Yes, so many times that I lost track. I just know it was supposed to happen right after new year but guess what, we are 2 months backdated. Hey… at least it was made possible this time.
We started our trip quite late that day. Yeah, Brian went to play paintball with his colleagues (some company outing) and we all waited for him. Jon (our honourable walking food guide) went to malacca earlier to visit his auntie so yeah he met us up there.
We depart from KL around 4-ish and reached malacca at around 5-ish. Woohoo.. the moment we landed, I can feel the intense excitement. Yeah… I never knew why, I just love malacca so much that it never get me bored going there from time to time. The food, the people, the culture and the arts… just amazing.
We walked at Jonker Street for a while before meeting up with Jon right in front of Geographer (the cafe where Sammi and Richie is at in the movie call Mo Mo Tea). Jon then took us to check into our hotel. Ah… luxurious hotel, located just a street behind Jonker Street. How convenient! (Pictures of the hotel to be included in the next post)
Our food trip soon started right after we smack our bags in to the hotel. We then headed to the Portugese Settlement to have our dinner. Yes, seafood…. ah… I love it . Two of Jon’s friend join our adventure that day. We ordered food that could feed like 8 people when there is only 6 of us. Opss.. sorry no pictures.. too hungry
We had like a big curry fish, otak-otak,baked black pepper crabs, fried sotong, kangkung belacan, mee mamak and half a dozen clams. Wooo….. I still felt like rubbing my tummies while writing this now.
We then quickly head to some hawker stall at Jalan Bunga Raya to eat the famous Fried Oyster With Eggs as time is seriously running out. By the time we left the Portugese Settlement, it was almost 9.30pm.. and well, stalls in malacca sorta close early.
Fooooih… the fried oyster is simply superb. Even gigi who normally dun take a bite ate quite a bit of it. Yeah… it’s best combined with the dessert as the fried oyster can be a little on the spicy side and oily too. Two thumbs up!
Hahaha… back to back.. non-stop we jump up to the car and drive straight to Jalan Ong Kim Wee to eat satay celup! Can you believe it, the guys has already stop touching the food saying they were too full already. Sigh…. look down on them except for Brian. Hahahhaa.. well done Brian! Continue the good job of exploring and eating good food. Well, we din eat that much of a satay celup but well at least we tried! But seriously, this satay celup wasn’t as good as the previous one I ate. Hemmm.. wonder why.
We then suppose to go somewhere else to ta pau “yau char kwai” but got lost and seperated from Jon’s friends. So we decided to just head back to the hotel and call it a day.
Well… to most people the night stops just there… but well, obviously there is still some inside dramas and fights and chasing here and there. Which well, I guess it takes me years to finish writing this post if I were to put it in details. *No, don’t even think of asking me to write it.*
Looking at the title, you should know it’s a food trip! So we talk all about the food and the nice place!
Yeay! Mum decided to buy us all a drink! As usual mum loves coffee.. any place with coffee will do the trick. Sis decided that we should freeze outside, thus she decided to go starbucks. Yeah.. she’s been to coffee bean but not starbucks. Okay… I’m chill with it. I can hang out anywhere as long as I am hanging. And no kidding that night was freaking cold. I mean I went up there for coffee that many amount of times but well… I feel super cold that night. Maybe the wind.. maybe I din have enough sleep. I dunno. Coffeeeeeeee… e..e…e is what I need. We drank halfway and only then we decided to call dad. Hahaha…. yeah… he’s too busy in the casino. It took him like 30 – 45 mins to walk from the casino to starbucks. Okay… as usual dad… always taking his sweet time walking around.. looking.. understanding some games mechanics and blah blah.Â
Hehe… before we decided to leave the starbucks area and venture into the Indoor Theme Park We took some pretty pics with the nice Hari Raya setups. Haha…. Oh yeah I always wanted to play the kompang.
Indoor Theme Park… here we come! Dad promise to win me something from the Theme Park! Can he do it?
Get set… ready and go. I can’t miss it. This is the first time I am watching such shows. I know very little of such shows. Yeah.. I don’t fancy reading books. I dun have time for TV. I dunno where all my time went. It seems to just disappear in thin air.Â
We finally got in. I kenot believe it. We were finally in The Pavillion. It’s not as big as I expect it to be. Quite small but cozy. Well.. seriously genting did a very great job by hiring many people to assist us to the seats. My seat was just right there but well.. 3 person insist to show me my sit and since they wanted to show the way badly, why not allow them to right?
It’s hard to believe. From the seating diagram I saw when purchasing the tickets. I tot it would be far away. I can only see people at the size of a peanut. But no… our seats were superb. It’s the 5th row from the stage. I can see clearly what everyone is doing on stage. It’s just too bad we can’t bring our camera’s in. Before the shows started, there were this group performing some malay dances to kill time. I must say they really put on some good show there. But well, I guess not many people appreciated.
Many people around me, behind me, in front of me brought in all the kids, babies and what not. I seriously hate kids when they start to scream, step on your feet in purpose and well the tragic one “kick your chair the whole night” as if there’s an earthquake in genting. Argh! They just gets on my nerve.
It was the largest set ever built for a live show in genting. Oh yes! It is one beautiful set that resembles a high-tech toy factory. From the making of this show, it’s said that it took 3 months of careful planning and execution to finish up this set and it is mad from solid steel.
The set nicely open and all the performers come to live when the clock struck. The robotic yet energetic opening dance was superb. It just starts and pump up the adrenaline rush in me. The show continues when the dancers decides to open up the box. Yeap some jack-in-the-box like thingy but the difference here is.. it’s not jack but a pretty lady in the box. Off she comes dancing to the middle of the stage with her all white dress and a white scarf. Her acrobat stunts was just amazing. Using only her feet to balance herself on the hula hoop in the air and spin around. What’s worst when she only use her toes. My heart almost fell out and my jaws for sure can close. Both my contact lenses almost pop out when she lands. Hem… simply graceful and entertaining.
We were then entertained by a group of spanish dancers. Hemm… I must say the dance is cool and the outfits. OH MY GOD! It’s seriously pretty. I mean… well.. now I know why many people I know is dying to learn how to dance. I never know it could look that good and “attractive”. Hahaha.
The Dancing Gauchos were next to perform on the stage. Their ability of their hands to swing and twist and turn is simply amazing. I seriously don’t know how to describe their stunts.I wish my hands can spin that fast. Hahaha.. then I will have mou ying sau.
More details about the Dancing Gauchos: http://www.thedancinggauchos.com/
We were then entertained with some tap dancing. Wow.. I must say this show has put a lot of effort into their costumes and I can imagine the sweat vapourized in the hard training they do daily to ensure no mistakes were made. It’s just so cool and neat! Stunning.
A group of seven russian guys made their entrance to the stage. Their balancing, I must admist is simply so good. Can you imagine them balancing themselves on a 12 feet tall pole with just using their heads and shoulders? Geez… The rather scary part was when they almost did a mistake which I guess will cost them their lives.
The stage went dark for a few seconds and we were then lighten with this dance sequence as an introduction to the motorcycle stunt in the Globe of Doom. Each dancers were dressed in punk looking clothings holding the head of the motorcycle and made great dance moves.
The Globe of Doom was simply amazing and interesting. How can I forget. Me and motorbikes.. they are just like sugar and everything sweet mixed together. I dunno why.. I just love bikes. It gives me this freedom feel. Hahaha.. I like to sit behind the bike and feel the wind. In the Globe of Doom, there were 3 motorcyclist riding inside it in high speed. It’s simply amazing. The way I look at it is like some fast moving object going in 360 degrees inside a snowglobe. I guess the slightest mistake or timing can be pretty deadly.
There were then this presentation by the clowns from Ukraine. Their performace was rather ermm…. predictable. I sorta see the similar performace in the television. But’s it still cool to watch it right in front of my own eyes. Haha…
I guess the main attraction of the whole show is finally revealed. The Wheel of Thrill where there is this man who walks, jumps and hops inside and outside a wheel that rotates 360 degree. What’s amazing is that he even skip ropes, juggle torches and walk blindfolded. In some attempts that night, he almost fell from the wheel. In his closing act, he did fell from the wheel but lucky he was near to the floor thus the damage wasn’t that bad, but in the ending, we could see him limp a little. I guess it’s just not his day! Better luck tomorrow.
All the stars then gather in the middle of the stage and bow while they were being introduced for the last time. The 80 minutes show ended with some photo session. Well obviously we’ll have to pay to take pics… or else velverse would be full of pictures by now.
It’s a serious worth seeing show. RM56 for a 5th row seat to watch acrobats that will make your contact lenses pop out, left your jaws wide open and heart skip a beat. AMAZING!
Well… I can’t take pictures inside but well.. hahaha I still manage to take some pictures outside. Yeah! mini pictures… coz ar… ermm.. hand shaking terribly due to cold weather.
Okay.. believe it anot, I only have time to blog about my Genting Invasion today. It’s been like a week ago. I know… Hahaha… but well I wanted to blog about it. Ermm why? I dunno… at least I can look back when.. eh… god knows how old I will be when I start to click on the archives and goes like… ooo… I did this… wow… I did that….. woooo… I saw this handsome geek~ Okay okay… to be honest with… there isn’t any handsome geek in Genting… not as far as my eyes can see. Better luck next time… I hope~Â
Just finish watching mid night show and yum char with friends. Sigh.. was suppose to go dinner with ganesh, but sis say she’ll pick me up and go genting.. but she made last minute change of plan. Hahaha…. and I canceled my dinner plan with ganesh. Ah… I should have just went for the dinner!
Mum called. Dad is on the way down from Genting to pick me up. I was tired. I barely have 2 hours of sleep. Yeah…. in case anyone forget, I packed like 1/4 of my room stuff there. I dunno what got in to me. I just feel I need to have everything there. As if I am staying there for good.
Finally dad arrived. First thing mum say to me was “You’ve gone fatter” Okay.. I know I know.. That’s not what I wanna hear in the early morning . Dad as usual will deny the fact that I have been gaining weight. Well, I used to be fatter, and I guess that image is still in his head, so as long as I am not as fat as what I used to be… He will still say.. “No lah, It’s just the cloths she is wearing”. HOW SWEET~
p/s – I sleep all the way from my house to Genting
Mum made breakfast… Hahaha… yup hot steamed CHAR SIEW PAU and coffee!! Yumm yumm… my favourite. It’s really been some time since I last ate char siew pau. Serious shit man. I guess it’s like lemme count… A year? Hemmmm.. as far as I can remember, I never had any pau when I am in KL. As a matter of fact, I dun even know where on earth in KL can I get nice and tasty char siew pau. Have a little chit chatz with uncle, auntie, mum and dad, sis and sis bf.
Me, sis and sis bf(Jason) started off our invasion plan. Yup.. It’s sis birthday celebration. So we will all go out and have fun. It’s been a long time since the dynamic sisters venture in to the theme park.
Okay… sis went to buy tickets. Me and jason have nothing to do. He decided to test out his camera. Yeay~ I din bring mine. He will be the cameraman for the day~ How would I decline. I love being photographed. Hahaha~
Okay. We both feel like measuring ourselves. Hahaha… Yup obviously I am more than 152cm. So yeap, I do measure up to the scale. I can play almost everything and anything. Opsss… except for some kiddies stuff. We are all set. We know what we can play and we surely have our bands around now.
In case anyone is wondering. This is my photographer of the day. Hehehe… my sister’s boyfriend Jason and my sister, Denise. Sweet eh?
Day 01 – 1100 hrs
We are all set. Got our bands tighten to our wrist. Wooo hooo… Theme Park here we come! We started off out first ride of the day, The “Super Toboggan”. Don’t ask me what does Toboggan means. My english is seriously Sdn. Bhd. la. You know… ENGLAND no good! Well, this ride have the shortest queue and well, we wonder why. When we finally get to the front, we finally knew why. You actually have to weight yourself, and if you are more than 65kg. I’m so sorry people! You are out of the line. Hahaha… A good choice for a ride. 1. Less people in line. 2. I finally know how much I weight recently.. muahahaha…

Seriously, the ride looks a little old. Especially the cars. I wonder how long have they been there?
Okay… we move on for more excitement. This time around, we saw this huge spinning thing. Yeah, it’s located right next to the entrance. The queue wasn’t that long after we left the Super Toboggan. Yippie… when I saw it spinning… my legs start to tremble. Well with my past medical record and fear for heights, I normally will have blackouts. However… we only live once in our lifetime, so I decided to still go for it.

Hahaha… this is my first time on this ride man. No shit! At first it seems scary. I mean okay.. when it start to spin. I seriously dare not look at the groud. Go.. go.. go.. ole ole ole… Here we go, to play the Grand Prix Fun Kart. Hehe… Wow… I was scared. I dunno how to drive, I always crash when playing dytona, or should I say my car is always sticking to the wall trying to do some wall graffiti. I have doubt if I could even finish one lap. My sis told me. It’s really very slow okay~ You won’t even need the brakes. Yeah right! You are an expert driver.. sure say so lar! I am still praying to god know who I am praying to. I dunno… just whatever lar. We need to sign this computerized stuff.. like if we die or crash or met with accident, genting shall not be held responsible. Damn… do they have to do that to us. There are some people in front of me who step on their brakes so I will have to step on it and overtake them. Okay first time doing that in my life. Felt a little less nervous now. Okay… I am still very concentrated. I can see my sister and jason was like bored half way of the ride. But I dunno… my first driving experience. I seriously hold the stering wheel so tight my hand is sweating. Hello… yeah I am sweating. Next time I shall stick this “Newbie On The Road” sign on my car.

Hehehe.. seriously food service there is bad. It’s rather slow and ermmm un-effective. Jason’s lamb chop was terrible, it only has fries, salad and fries. They din give him cucumbers and tomatoes. Poor poor. What’s e ven worst.. Its so salty I could hardly taste the lamb. My chicken chop was the last to arrive. I din want to have heavy lunch coz I’m waiting for mum’s cooking. I gave 1/4 to my sis and 1/4 to jason. One thing cool about this place. Hahaa.. you can play games for free~ while waiting for your food.
The ride must go on! How can we stop just like that lar. We dun intend to vomit our precious lunch out so we all went for something not so thrilling. Something that doesn’t really excite our heart and brain that much. We walked around looking at the map what we haven’t play. Actually I should say what’s available on plate since almost 1/2 of it is closed for maintenance. Yeah raya and deepavali is up soon. They gotta get ready for that crowd and ignore us.
Yeap… I’m leaving on a jet plane. To where? NO idea, where ever this Astro Fighter takes me I guess. Hemm…. And seriously, of all plane I chose this lousy plane… that can’t rise and land. Just going round and round in circle. How sad case lah!

We walked in to First World Theme Park to puchase the ticket for X-TREME Push The Limits! I didn’t know what’s that but well sis says it’s some acrobat stuff. Okay… I’ll watch it even I’m dead tired. I’ve never watch such shows before. Guess what the tickets arent that expensive after all. It’s only 70 for the scale 1 seats, 60 for the scale 2 seats and 50 for the scale 3 seats. Jason brought the tickets and well, they prvide 20% discount for VISA card members. Wooo hooo… so we got 5th row from the stage tickets for only RM56. That was dead cheap.
We then headed back to our apartment, have dinner, bath, rest a little and get ready to watch the exciting show. Hahaha… yeah I will be talking about the show in the next entry. I think I already have a super long entry for the day~
It’s been ages since I last set my precious foot on this place. Haha… yup, to precious to even go anywhere. Just lay my big fat self at home. Roll around my matress, squeeze the teddy bears and pretend I am a silkworm. I am getting lazier and lazier to move around. No! This can’t happen to me. I’m still to young and too many things to see.
I finally have a solid excuse to convince myself that I need to leave my dusty and messy room. Yup, it’s my sister’s birthday. How can I not show myself. I guess I will have to, or else I will be nag till death. Some might wonder, so serious? You bet, no kidding NAG TILL DEATH! Worst kind of torture god has ever created.
Well, at least the nagging part does give me an impact. I need some good rest. Fresh cool air to reduce the amount of pimples on my face, the greens to relax my eyes, the mist to moisture my skin and well, the time to spend some time with my family.
I packed my bag like 3 hours before the trip. Guess what, I guess I almost bring 1/4 of my stuff in room there. Had this big santa clause like bag with me. Don’t ask me what’s inside my bag, I still dan’t figure out what I stuff inside. But still with that big bag, I still manage to forget to bring stuffs. How sad.. I’m growing older and older.
Too many things to write about this genting trip. I guess I will just finish the pictures montage tomorrow. And show you guys my exciting trip to genting.
p/s – Jimbo, don’t lah jealous when I write very short about my stuffs but type a lot for andy. Hahaha.. I’m a simple person with a simple life, thus nothing much to write about. I write a little about myself daily, Andy on the other hand.. hahahaa.. only once a while, sure must cover all the details! So dun complain lah~ Promise you a long, long genting post. Hahahaha~
