Thai-ri-ffic. |
 |
Sawadeeka!! Ah… a little short update from thai when I have the time. First thing first… it’s seriously hot and I feel like a roast pork now. No kidding… my whole body is aching and it’s really killing me. I think I am a little sunburn-ed. Hem… okay, as a matter of fact… I am way darker when I arrive here 3 days ago!
Haha… when I came they all tot I am a japanese/korean/china girl. All goes like… “ni hao, ahnyeong seyo, konichiwa”… and well… by yesterday… everyone starts to talk to me in Thai… and when I give a shocked and “I don’t understand what you are talking about” face… they soon know I am not Thai. Ah… is that a good sign or what?
I think by the time I come back from Hong Kong… I would look dark enough to be bitter sweet. As far as I remember, Thai wasn’t that hot the other time I came. Anyway… probably it’s me who is not used to all the walking under the great hot sun.
The amount of walking and the amount of sweat… hemmm… I guess whatever amount of food I eat just doesn’t matter anymore. Oh yeah… talking about food… THAI SAUSAGES rocks!!!!!!
Okay… shall update again… er… when I touch down in Malaysia (before my Hong Kong trip).

 |
|

Pictures taken from: http://fotologue.jp/lek
Finally!!! My holiday session is here. My long awaited trip is happening tomorrow. Oh… I am so gonna miss my blog… 20th June to 9th July of holiday! YAHOO!!!
Ah… I know I have been pretty busy and have been neglecting my blog for sometime. But well… yes, my first trip together with my cousin, Nicole to some overseas trip. Hehe… memorable~
This is gonna be a long holiday for me. The journey started of with a 6 day Bangkok trip.. whereby the agenda will continue on with a 7 day Hong Kong trip and followed by a few days of makan trip around KL with Nicole.
Hehe… I am sorta happy when it comes to thinking of me going to shop shop and shop in Bangkok… not forgetting snapping pictures… then going to shop shop and shop in Hong Kong. Hemm… I wonder if I ever gonna see some fireworks when in Hong Kong since there are going to be some big celebration on July 1st.
I can’t wait… to go Disneyland too. Yeah, my mum sorta promise me this 2 years ago… and yeah.. finally, dreams come true! (click here to read old entry). Ah… I really can’t wait to buy the toys and everything else.
So yeah, can’t wait to see the world… hoping to see Andy Lau pass by, buy lots of vinyl toys… nice baby tee… weeee… So yes, wish me luck!
Please note that the pictures used in the montage is taken by lek. Well, I know my montage doesn’t do his photography justice as I kinda tweak and make his pictures look not as nice. Sorry ya!

Bake a little cake for me~ |
 |
|

Backdated post. Actual event took place on 06 December 2006.
As mention in previous post, DELIcious refuse to let us get our cake in to the shop, hence we go back to place where we buy the cake. Which was lucky, since Jon sneak out to buy the cake from a nearby shop, Bakerzin.
Haha… it feels sorta funny since Jon buy and take away the cake… and not long after that… one big group of us walk in bringing the cake back and told the shop we decided to dine in. Of course the waitress look at us with a puzzled face but well, at least we didn’t bring any outside food.
So yes, awwww… I am so happy. They brought me my favourite cake. Haha… I like mango!!! Cyiak! Mango Mousse cake. It was really yummy. Glad that the cake isn’t exactly large… cause most of the time, it’s really very rich and filling. This time… it’s sorta different. Everyone can’t seems to have enough of the cake.
What can I say, it’s really yummy and I can really taste the mango flavour in them. Hehe… okay… not only the taste but the aroma was simply irresistable. Yummie… I had the biggest piece of cake… and of course, all the mix fruit topping :D. Thanks my fellow friends, for making time to gather together. Muacks!

My DELIcious birthday |
 |
|

Backdated post. Actual event took place on 06 December 2006.
Yippie yeay yeay, an earlier birthday celebration as I will be away for some company & family trip the week around my birthday. So yeah, pretty much not staying and sticking around. I finally manage to celebrate my birthday together with my uni mates. Glad that they do free up their time to come dinner together :). Much appreciated! Really!
Hehe… I guess me, my birthday and Bangsar Village seems to be connected in many ways. I remember the previous year, I celebrated with my uni friends at Basil. Ah… coincidence eh? Fate I would say. I wouldn’t say I was perticularly early… but at least I wasn’t that late. I find it quite hard to locate this Delicious Cafe. It is very much hidden, if you come in from the information counter. One would have to go through the supermarket section in order to get in to the place (from inside the mall).
I love their graphics. From their posters to their menu, glass stickers and everything. Hemm… it seems like a thoughtful process whereby they carefully think and brand themselves. I really think it is pretty cool. They have lots and lots all cool stuffs like how they painted the bird cage in white and stuff. It really created a lot of ambience.
Their have an open area which have lots of cushion where one can practically have some pillow fights. Ah.. okay… now back to my birthday celebration. Everyone that promises to show up manages to show up except the host who have some work to do. Well I don’t blame her, work always comes first
We all were busy catching up with things we missed out.. Had some great laugh.. and I guess age is really catching up. Imagine the topic “when will you get married?” will never fail to pop up in the conversation. Which of course in my case, “when you gonna have a bf?” applies.
The food arrived… and I must say, they look very good. Food presentation wise, I think they practically nailed every single angle of it. Okay, maybe not every single angle, but at least it works for me. It manages to appeal to me. But taste wise… hemmm surely not the best. I would say, it is quite overly priced for the taste and portion they serve.
Probably it’s a different chef, so yeah… I guess they pretty much didn’t maintain the food quality standard. I think the branch in 1 Utama serves better food. Although a small place and less decorations, I think they really do server better food.
Hemm…. I don’t really know, but one thing I can tell you, they have BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Yes, we have a serious issue about bringing a birthday cake my uni friends bought. Almost a big drama whereby they would wanna charge us some big amount of money. Yeah, I guess that amount of money is enough to buy another 1/2 cake.
For me, not allowing us to bring the cake in is not exactly what I meant by BAD service. Is the way they talk to you which sounded bad. I think I could use the word rude and not friendly… and I think those qualities are not what someone who is in a customer service line should have. What I hate most is the walk of with a dark charcoal face ignoring things. Yes, I hate that when they give me… “complain me if you want, I don’t care face”. I wonder why and how on earth people like this is hired. Sigh… yes, that pretty much spoils a little of the fun. So what happen to the cake? Tell you on the next post!

My magic parcel |
 |
|

Backdated post. Actual event took place on 06 December 2006.
I love the feeling of receiving a parcel, especially from someone you haven’t really meet before. I particularly love this parcel. This is a parcel from a taiwan designer friend whom I get to know from flickr. Yeah, it’s reall cool. I get to know her for a short while and she decided to mail me some of her works… which really shocked me.
Initially I thought it would be just a small parcel with one or two cards inside as she told me she would send me the x’mas cards she made. It is printed and only sold at selected bookstores in Taiwan. It turn out it wasn’t really a small parcel.
It comes in with many other cute stuffs like bookmarks, note book, organizers, paper holders, paper bag… ah just too much~ The best part is, all of them looks just so cute and I really don’t have the heart to use it.
Mmmm… I really really really love it so much. Thanks feicat for all the nice stuff! I really love your artwork! Keep it up

A brand new day! |
 |

Ah…. I finally have the chance to scribble a little bit here and there. Life hasn’t been excatly the best of what I hope and thought it would be. As many would have know by now, I have actually changed my job.
Yes, it’s a pretty big and sad thing for me to actually leave colleagues so close to me. I could still recall the day I step out from the office and say bye. It really kick in to me. I never know bye felt so pain. I don’t know… it normally doesn’t feel a thing to me when I actually say that… but this time it is just so different.
Then again, there are dreams in life which I would have to make it come true, hence there are things and stuffs I would have to leave behind. Which was really bad. Well, call me greedy but I really wish if only I could have both. If only… who wouldn’t want the best of both worlds?
It hasn’t been exactly the greatest moments in my life right now. Yes, so I am actually not in those happy happy moments which I am usually at. I felt stressed and worst… somewhat disappointed in myself.
I hate that feeling but it seems like it’s coming back to haunt me down. I somewhat felt useless and stupid! Then again… WAKE UP MANDY!!!!! A brand new day is waiting for you…
