Woohoo… being the self-love and vain me. I decided to jump que from my backdated post to update this blog a little. Hehe.. I did a new hair cut. Sigh.. much to my disappointment.. the stylist sorta cut the wrong one. I very much wanted an “Aeon Flux” look. But somehow it ended up like… I dunno… 1/4 of what it is supposed to look like and 3/4 of what my previous hair cut looks like except the fact that I have a longer fringe this time. But well… what can I say, it’s been a year since I see myself in such short hair. Ah.. so yes, lack of sleep.. went to have my hair done and went straight to clubbing. Talking about a hectic day. Worst than working from 9 – 5. Now, let me continue my self-love process! |

Additionally, the tone and beat is just right and the lyrics is apt.
I have also discussed about this topic in my previous post.
I suppose it’s true. We can never know when a person is actually lying.
Sometimes it is an ultimate game of lying and may the best liars win.
Cause we never know who is lying and who is not.
Also just when you are lying to someone, we can never know if the other person is lying back at you.
The best part, lying can be really addictive.
We first lie just a little, then we lie a little more, and more and more in order to cover the previous lies.
There will be a point where there is no return and we will just keep lying.
And the lie must go on.
There are times people lie so much, it makes us wonder why people lied in the first place.
Have we ever asked ourselves why we lie in the first place?

Backdated post. Actual event took place on 4 August 2006. Yeah, everyone noticed I have been attending lots of birthday parties and fair amount of farewell as well. What can I say… it’s something worth attending and worth celebrating. This time, at a larger scale since he is the ever famous one. I was honoured to be invited to Azli’s aka Ikan‘s Birthday Party Yes, now… we would say.. there’s no place like Checker’s. Everyone arrive quite late that night. Azli just finish eating dinner with Kit and his friends. By the time he walked in, the party officially started. Not much people was there yet. Only me, loh, ganesh and azli. As time pass by group and groups of people start joining in. Firstly, some long time no see ex-XM colleagues arrive. Nik, beatrice, jafwan and maryam all come together at the same time. It’s really been a long time since I saw so man ex colleagues gather together. Like I say, Azli is a famous person. Teekay, julie, may and jomel was then spotted. The crowd just grew bigger and bigger when eunice, jessy, shirley, alvin and edward join in. We took from 2 to 3 tables. Yes, I haven’t even mention Azli’s group of friends who was busy playing pool. Wow.. it was just a big crowd. I think the house bought Azli loads of drinks. From flaming lamborgini to tequilla shots to some mixtures of drinks. A cute little cake pops out and shocked Azli when the clock strike 12. Yes, he looks shocked.. probably with the amount of candles on the cake. He was then invited to stage to sing with the La Viva group. Oh yes… Azli sang his favourite song! What song is that? “Kau Ilhamku”. Yes yes… azli with his shy shy face. Hehe.. I have never seen him that shy before. It was a long night. Everyone sit down, chit chat, take pictures… and massive drinking. I mean what do you expect… drinking is compulsory! |
I am back! I got TAGGED by may with a newest style of tagging.
Nowadays memes are more advanced and challenging as it is no longer about just answering questions.
What caught my attention on this meme was it’s theme on colours.
My favourite colour as all know was PURPLE and any hues between purple to PINK.
I think it is quite obvious given my previous blog skin had a hint of purple mixed with pink.
However, when I was at a house warming party yesterday, someone suddenly ask if I like green colour.
They mentioned they saw me wearing a lot of green coloured top recently, hence that is why the question.
I was shocked 😲 to hear that too. Do I like green? Really?
I think I like any and have a lot of different colour tops.
So yes, GREEN is the new black!
1. I totally love the light green colour on the Qoo White Grape Juice can. The colour was so vibrant and catchy and I find it very lovely and cute 😍. Don’t you all think so?
2. My love for Sailor Jupiter will never die. My sister gifted me a set of Sailormoon character figurines as my birthday present.
3. Eunice gifted me a box of chocolate and a cute teddy bear. The gift was wrapped with different green hues and Christmas ornaments.
4. Look, even my sister are in the mood for GREEN.
5. I am sure it is a TAN family gene since my sweet , cute and lovely cousin, Nicole also wears the same.
6. The best green in the list are the Wasabi flavoured nuts? It was so yummy and had this sharp spicy feel that goes up the nose. I totally love the excitement and chill thrill. More please!

Hunt hunt hunt!! Piang Piang!! Kill Kill Kill!! It’s open season now. Lots of fur for the fashion industry. Lots more leather shoes produced. Lots of goose feather pillow. Ah… yes, to keep the circle of chain. Everything must be controlled.
Now, all the hunting action and hoo-hah only at Open Season. Boog (Martin Lawrence) is a grizzly bear that happens to be adopted by forest ranger, Beth (Debra Messing). Boog lives with Beth in a comfortable environment. Food, snacks, soft and comfortable bed, own personal and private toilet and even a cute stuffed toy “Dinkleman” and not to mention watching Wheel of Fortune before bed. Ah… the big bear have the whole garage to himself. How lucky!
Boog was the main attraction back at there at the small little town. Everything is fine until Elliot (Ashton Kutcher), a “unihorn” (single antler deer) came in to the picture. Elliot was bang by Shaw (Gary Sinise) and tied to the front of his truck. Shaw and Beth both stand on the far opposite viewpoint. Which makes them not at good talking terms.
Matters got worst when Shaw saw Boog help Elliot escape. Elliot then tries to lure Boog out from his comfortable zone which later cause a big problem. Beth have no choice but to send both Boog and Elliot to the wild and release them back to where they belong 3 days before the open season.
For the very first time, Boog left home and have to count on himself. In order to return home, Boog agreed to make Elliot his partner. At the jungle, there were lots of funny part like how Boog tries to go to the toilet, how to catch fishes. Boog and Elliot became easy targets for the animals in the forest as they were sorta weak and pampered.
There, Boog stumbles upon McSquizzy (Billy Connolly) the leader of the squirrel community. He is also the ruler of the forest trees. He speaks with heavy Scottish slang and always have a large troop of army backing him up with loads of acorns.
Being bullied by not only McSquizzy, they were even laughed by the beavers, led by Reilly (Jon Favreau). They were also bullied by Elliot’s deer herds.
While searching their way around, Boog finally noticed that Elliot didn’t actually know his way around. Boog was angry, with Shaw breaking the open season rule and firing at him, he accidently stumble on the dam the beavers make.
It was cool looking at how Elliot, Boog and the porcupine tries to escape Shaw’s attack in the water scenes. I think it was one of the most interesting scene in the whole movie. They were all being washed down to the lower part of the forest where they are prone to be hunted.
Boog just couldn’t care less as all he ever wants to is find Beth. Leaving the rest, he stumbles in to Shaw’s house. Noticing that Elliot is Shaw’s next victim, he quickly runs back to Elliot to rescue him. This time around, Boog and Elliot decided to kick some ass. Instead of finding a place to hide, they decided to fight back. With the help of McSquizzy, Reilly, the porcupine, skunks and duck… everything just gotta heat up.
Everything found was used wisely. From bras, forks, gas tank to knives. Every animal just stick together and use each other’s specialties to help fight the hunters.
I think it was a great animated story. Boog’s fur was simply amazing and yes… it totally deserves the credit. The water scenes were cool as well. Yes, it’s a funny movie with a simple storyline. I think it was amazing but somehow.. it lacked something. Lack of message. I don’t know. I mean… it just didn’t touch my heart enough to think it was utterly great.
It’s seriously not bad… but I think I would prefer Over the Hedge to this. At least there is a message or something to learn about. Yes, I am rather picky. There have been lots of animations like this on the market, one must differ themselves from the rest. Emotion plays a part. Lessons learnt… message delivered to viewers… soundtracks… just so much to make a movie perfect.
So yes, the season is now open! The hunting experience will never be the same again.

It’s time to celebrate Nicole’s birthday.
It is an advance celebration and it has been a while since she came back, in time to celebrate her birthday with us.
And yes, it is very much in advance since she will be leaving Malaysia for her long holiday to Korea.
It’s better in advance than later since she will only be back much later.
Since the 3 of us are busy roaming around in Genting Highlands, we decided that the surprise birthday when we went back to our apartment.
When we reach back, most of us are dead tired since we have been actively walking and exploring around.
Me and my sister sneaked in to the kitchen to prepare for the surprise while Nicole is chilling in the living room.
While we bringing out the cake, many drama happened. I was busy running in and out of the kitchen as along the way, candles got blown out half way.
Sigh , I am really bad at planning surprises. So, please don’t assign me to plan for any surprises.
Thank you my dear cousin for playing your part and pretended to be surprise.
The time used to taking photos were much longer than making a wish and cake cutting.
Yes, pose and take more photos.
My sister is assigned to cut the cake since birthday person shouldn’t be cutting their own cake.
And now, we are going to bed with a stomach filled with yummy cheesecake.

No, this is not a paid advertisement or anything. It’s just out of good deed and well… no, I have no free tickets to give… since I didn’t ask for any. As his friend, and to show my support for him, I decided to buy a ticket and see it in the cinema.
Okay… I think I am a bad promoter. Coz I seriously know nothing about the movie. So yes, I am as eager as everyone else to wait for 28 December 2006 to arrive.
According to source, this movie is the Local Chinese film to be distributed by an international distributor, Columbia Pictures. This movie is produced and directed by Award winning film makers, Dream Image.
Mmmm… The main casts are Wong Sze Zen (Miss Malaysia World 2003/2004), Alvin Wong (Best Actor in Malaysian Video Awards 2005, Acted in Commercials, and sitcoms like 3 girls 1 bed), Amber Chia, Vick Teo
(Malaysian Idol 2003 2nd Runners Up).

I am sure most of us at one point in our life wished to be born as a Prince or Princess .
We get to own everything nice from clothes, bags, shoes, cars and etc.
We have many assistant, driver, bodyguard and people working to make sure all our needs are met.
And as a kid, we were constantly brainwashed with the prince and princess living happily ever after in a perfect happy and nice ending.
But as we grew up, we start to realize not everyone gets their happily ever after.
Brian came back this week after missing out on last week’s theme.
His luxurious Prince Sahara is very bling.
Looking very gold, very bold, very arrogant just like a prince with his little pig pet.
When I first saw his illustration, it reminded me of Journey To The West.
The prince has strong resemblance to the Tang Buddhist monk accompanied by his disciple, the Zhu Bajie going through the dessert together.
No matter what it reminds me of, I still think it rocks!
As for me, I decided to create the Princess Hours couple who are my ideal kind of prince and princess.
In the series, the are romantically linked and lived happily ever after.
I have to thank my lovely cousin Nicole that introduced me to the wonderful series.
The series was romantic yet emotionally draining that makes us all fall in love with it instantly.
In fact the idea for this week’s theme came about after Nicole suggested to me to draw a prince.
To show my appreciation to her for sharing such a lovely drama, I drew these for her.
So yes, I am a Goong fan and I will have an extensive post about the drama soon.

Backdated post. Actual event took place on 21 July 2006. The day when everyone felt like eating steamboat. Something soupy and spicy to warm our stomach. I think it’s been a while since I ate steamboat. I always liked steamboat. I never actually understand why. But it’s fun and simple food. Everyone knows how to do it. The dinner started late as some of them have to work late. I think all… since all of them are Gigi’s colleague. Me and Gigi is first to arrive and we decided to order food first since most of them are starving. The rest seems like they have strong sense for food. They all arrive when the food arrive. Hemmm talk about good timing. Woohoo…. Evan was suppose to join us but he have some problems (last minute). 🙁 Sigh… I have not seen him for ages and he can’t make it. But well, the fun must still go on. We all take our time and eat slowly while taking some pictures. The food…. hemmm I sorta felt their standard was a bit off that day compare to the previous time me and Gigi went… or maybe I lost my appetite. Gotta go back one more time to reconfirm.
After food, we decided to go somewhere nearby and play pool. Brewball at Phileo Ampang was the closest. I once work nearby there. And everyday after work, we all would just walk down and play a while before heading back. Wooo.. how relaxing. Yeah, those were the days. Now, hemmm… playing pool is an ocassional thing. Well… as usual, when the others were playing pool, the remaining people would sit down, chit chat, snap pictures and all. It was cool, I think everyone sorta enjoyed the day except for Jennifer. Yeah, she is new to playing pool. And she was sorta shy to learn. Hehe.. but well, at least she likes foosball 😀 |

After thinking for a bit, I finally decided to try out a new hairstyle.
Okay, it supposedly have that Aeon Flux feel. But as you can see, the hair dresser failed on me big time!
I didn’t really like the haristyle. Why?
Cause it makes my face looks fatter!
After sitting in the saloon 💇 for more than 4 hours, I was expecting more.
I finally got home, have a wuick dinner and start get ready to P.A.R.T.Y.
This time with my partner in crime, Gigi, Briand and 2 new friends.
While I have gone out with Winson and Alan for quite a bit, this is the first time we go clubbing together.
I hope I will get to enjoy myself since I didn’ have much sleep the night before.
I practically only slept for an hour, so I was really tired 😴.
I went to pick up Winson and had him drive me to Rum Jungle.
When we arrived, we saw Alan and his housemate Hafiz.
Brian and Gigi arrived not long after that and we proceed to go in.
Since we had a balance bottle, there isn’t much trouble getting the busy and crowded night.
And I love the DJ mixes here especially after 12.30am.
So yeah, let’s just sit down, chit chat a little and have my vodka drink while waiting for the after midnight party.
