Never mistaken someone who don’t take chances and someone who won’t take chances.
Sometimes it’s just a concious decision made.
Because we didn’t want to risk losing what is important to us.
The day a chance is taken, is the day fear died.

Who would have thought I would come this far.
I for one won’t think that I will still be doing this after 10 years.
But here I am, still writing nonsense and all.
Reading old post really makes me feel old out of a sudden.
Very old.. but fun.. but old.. but fun.
And this fun moments is what makes it worthwhile for me to keep this less update site. LOL!
HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY VELVERSE!
Jingle bell, jingle bell..
I am in the x’mas mood!
Stars are shining brightly everywhere.. snowman popping up like mushrooms..
And I just can’t help it when everywhere is so nicely decorated..
All malls are full-on decorating the malls, from The Gardens
The cozy cabin looking theme lives up to it’s standard and is simply interesting
Bangsar Village is by far somewhat disappointing given that they simply just dump some hot air balloon with gifts
But.. it’s sister, Bangsar Village II did a far better job partnering with Lego. Most of the cnristmas decorations are created with Lego.
From wreaths, ornaments to snowflakes..
Being someone who loves to eat, I also try out many christmas themed food.
From the donuts..
To Auntie Anne’s cheesy turkey pretzels,
Burp.. now even decorations in some mall’s can’t help but to agree with me.
Bangsar Shopping Centre has this “GIANT” Christmas Dinner
And most malls have lollipops and ice-cream hanging on the Christmas trees, some even have apples.
Yes, I thought I was dreaming at first.. but nope.. it’s true~
Ah… that’s like flying me to cloud 9, which is what Sunway Pyramid did.
Their fairy wings decoration does capture lots od attention. Yes, I wanna fly and be an angel too..
Midvalley and KLCC chose a more fun approach.. they both have one of my favourite element in it
With Midvalley showcasing the musical and carnival side.
Merry-go-round!! Love~ love.. love~
And the paper ornaments, too clutter and busy, but superlove..
While KLCC is all about teddy bears and nutcrackers.
OMG!! Yes, I love nutcrackers. I hope someday I can have like and extensive collection of it in different sizes
Phewwww… chill mandy, chill!
Even bubble teas make an effort to spread the season greetings
After all the exciting mall Christmas decoration hunting, this one mall brings us all back to reality..
Yes, while most santa and santarina are young and energetic.. they do grow old
But nevertheless, we still do love them deeply
Now yes.. Merry Christmas everyone!
And what better way to start a great celebration than to make my very own hot chocolate candycane drink!
Premonition.. most of the time, I wish I have the ability to tell.
At some point, I try very hard to avoid, to disregard, to ignore.
At some point it was a gift… or perhaps it was a curse.
I wish there was a choice, or an option.
I hope I will stand strong or at least stand still.
I wish I can keep calm and carry on..
But sometimes, I wish I could just sleep and dream for a bit.
Just a little… because that’s just what I need
A little dream to make me feel a little more humane..
Yes, just a little dream will do.
Was recently roped in to this confusing conversation, which to date… I still can’t seems to understand:
Potato: What to do on a Sunday noon?
Me: Go paktor lor!
Potato: Yeah, doing that now. But what else can do cause it’s so boring.
Potato: Need suggestion aside movies, shopping, cafe. What else?
Potato: Is it normal to just shop, movies, cafe and chit chat? Seems like monotonous one.
Me: Like is like that lor… eat, shit and sleep. You also monotone for so many years.
Potato: Want to do some activities mah… like jungle tracking.
Me: Then go cycling at park, catch butterfly with net or picnic.
Potato: Cycling so hot la… I want something that is not too hot and burnt under the sun
Me: You want activity but give excuses. Hot la… this la… that la
Me: Then go see museum, science centre or art gallery
Potato: You think here is Paris or Rome or Europe? Museum here sucks big time.
Me: Seriously, monotone is your choice.
*puke blood* Sometimes, I can only blame myself for allowing this kinda conversation to take place.
I mean seriously, monotone life? If look at in a broad scope, it always have been since we are born, no? Eat, shit and sleep!
I find that it’s just the small details in life that makes everything more interesting.
Someone once told me… make time, make an effort and everything will turn out differently.
Now, back to my monotone life! Zzzz…
Yeeha! Weekend is here and I’m at Urbanscapes~
Quite a lovely day… since it’s not raining!
Was super excited as it’s my first urbandscaping experience.
Can’t help but to look around like a lost child… it was really a one of it’s kind view!
Best part! I saw PUMA’s cool playbus!
It was really awesome I tell you, with a nicely designed in-store.
Love what they’ve done to the bus… but what’s more interesting… performance on the top of the bus!
Sweet rite? And the crowd was just mesmerized by the performance and dance!
Yes, I know I just typed dance… and they literally just did… on top of the bus!
Now… oppa PUMA style… op… op… op…
2012 has come and gone in a blink of an eye.
and well… I have survived the Y2K and the predictions of the great Mayans, and what’s next?
Really, for once… I sat down and really think hard… what do I really want for 2013?
I guess, what I want this year would be…
1. Try out more good food.
Awesome food in fact, and more seems to now be an understatement… is like loads and loads and loads of awesome food! Yes… think I gotta eat like there’s no tommorrow. I mean, seriously… I don’t know how many more Y2K or predections I could get away with
2. Travel… yes travel more!
Ooopss… I think I used the word more again. I mean, I can’t settle for a number although I have hit my quota last year. I really wish I could see the world a little more. Probably this time further away, I don’t know. But weirdly, my heart is thinking Hong Kong. Why? I seriously don’t know… probably I miss the gashapons, probably I just miss the food, probably I just miss those fun travelling moments. But yeah, then again… I’m also thinking of Taiwan… where I am seriously dying to try all the streetfood. I swear, this time round… I am just gonna eat from the beginning of the street till the very end.
3. Work hard, play even harder.
Now yes… almost everyone I know say I work too hard. Probably is a sarcastic remark, probably it’s true… but it’s just because I’m incompetent. I just don’t have the skills to do things as fast and good as the others, hence I would really need to spend a little bit more time on it, and step up the game as well. But well, nevertheless… I’m still finding ways to fix it… yes, serious fixing and overhauling!
But well, I’ve decided to play even harder to balance up my life. How exactly? I don’t know. I haven’t exactly figure out… probably by eating more good food, travel more? Yes.. pretty much covered on the above pointers.
4. An instagram a day, keeps the memory alive!
Yes… a small little side project I’m working on right now… to at least take a photo a day via instagram and at the end of the year, create a wall montage or mosiac out from all the instagram photos I’ve taken. Interesting? Well, I’ve up the level a little… no faces for sure. Yes… it’s just daily photos which represents the day of my life… probably some weird looking photos that doesn’t mean anything… but well… that’s the fun bit of it. And I really wonder, what will my wall looks like at the end of the day!
5. The arty side of me.
I’ve been slacking again. I know… right? It’s sad… but sometimes, it’s been difficult and bumpy road. But I’ll still hang on and not disappoint the fire and passion in me. And… at the end of the day, I really need to set my priorities right. The path I choose and the dream I dreamt about… it’s gotta start somewhere… and I guess it’s gotta start here. Draw mandy chan, draw! Draw and chase after the infinity canvas!
My very first trip to Beijing, China… and I’m simply amazed.
I love the beauty of it’s old and new architecture.
I adore the culture and wonder how the impossible is made.
But nothing beats the irony, of this song was being played at a shop when I was there.
How appropriate isn’t it? *classic*
More amazing Beijing post to come 🙂
I’ve heard a lot about the Tokyo Street in Pavilion.
But this is really my first time there.
And wow… this is really an interesting place!
Everything japanese, everything cute and beautiful!
Even to the deco bit! *love… love, love*
Now I think this should be my new favourite hangout! 🙂
Ooo.. and I spotted some interesting foodie place too~ *yeay*
