STOP! In the name of love.

STOP WAR!

Okay… something serious happened just today afternoon so I decided to hold my backdated post and update about the recent today afternoon strike. I was shocked when I can hear shouts and screams from the street even with my loud music. Right.. my colleagues are complaining they can hear what I play even with headphones on now.

When I look down.. it was OH MY GOD scene. There were so many people protesting.. holding banners. I don’t exectly know what they are saying as my office is located quite high from the ground. There were so many people on the street on strike. Yes the amount is much more compare to the first two rounds of strikes. (read here: Everything just goes higher and higher. and Shall V talk?)

This time around they were heading for somewhere further. As seen on the top picture the amount of people were too much to handle as the front people were already passing by KLCC while there were still many behind.

Reason for the strike… I guess it has something to do with the recent news on the Isreal War.. coz there were many banners stating STOP WAR.

No idea what is happening around but I just think scenes like this were scary and no shit.. the entire traffic was like delayed for 30 - 45 minutes while at least 5 thousand angry people walk around.

HELP!! I am scared~

Note: Post above is to note down what has been seen and recorded real time and have no meaning or intention to provoke anger or hatred of any parties.

Re-Cycle: Not everything can be recycled.
Re-Cycle (2006)

Re-Cycle (2006)If I could write a short summary before anything, the summary would contain 6 words. “It is not a ghost story”. Okay there you go the spoiler intro (well not that the movie is bad).

The chinese word “ghost” in the title got me thinking it was a ghost story. I keep thinking it would be scary and all. But well, I would say I am kinda amazed with the moral of the movie.

Ting Yin (Angelica Lee Sin Je) is a novel writer. With the right combination of being lovely and intelligent. She just has it all. Her first novel sell like hot cakes when she writes a beautiful love novel. Which actually writes a lot about her previous love relationship. The media and readers got so connected to novel. To ride on her success, she decided to write a totally new genre. She decided to write about Ghost Land. Yup… of all the genre.. horror! So yes, we are going to Ghost land for a ride.

Right after she decides to write about Ghost Land, many weird senarios started to come up. She started to scribble different different stories. Many rejected stories were crumppled and thrown away. She starts to notice weird things happening like seeing strands of very long hair in her house, weird voice coming from the telephone machine and not to mention overflowing waters from the bathroom and shadows coming from here and there.

Unaware about the truth that the things that happen to her was exectly what she scribble on the papers. One night, after meeting his ex-boyfriend. She was walking home and she was almost carried away by this strong wind. She quickly return home and continues her story. She then notices the movements from the recycle bin. She picks up the piece of moving paper and uncrumple it only to find out what has been happening to her for the past few days were excetly what she wrote on the piece of paper. She then runs out of the house trying to find out what is going on.

As she steps out of her apartment, weird things starts to happen. She reached a weird place where dead bodies fly down. There she saw a woman similar to the fictional character she wrote for the book. A tall, slender, long-haired women is chasing after her and she running deeper in to the unknown land.

There she came to talk to this old man (Lau Siu Ming) where she finally knows a little bit about where she is at now. It’s a place where things we discarded, throw away or forgotten go. Right… the interesting part comes when Ting Yin will have to run when eveyrthing in that dimension starts to break apart. If she stays in, she will be gone forever.

From the Playground of the Damned, she jumps in to this new dimension called the Forest of Death. Where loads of dead people were seen hanging on the tree. Ting Yin nearly got killed by the zombies if it weren’t for this little girl who saved her riding on this giagantic wooden horse.

She brought her to this Toy Ruin dimension and told Ting Yin more about the Ghost Land. She told her everything that she has abandon or forget, she can find it back there. From there they venture more deeply in to the place as Ting Yin needs to ge through a lot of places only to get to The Transit (a place where she can return to reality).

The little girl helped Ting Yin to get to the destination. They been through a lot of bad and good stuff. After going throught thick and thin, Ting Yin was being told of the cruel truth. The little girl she wanted to bring with her back to the real world is actually the baby she has aborted.

The ending was rather scary and stunning and many does not understand what it means. Right… Ting yin wakes up in bed gasping for air. She then walks out to notice another her talking on the phone. I think it was brilliant how she was put to a position where she is too in to writing about the story that she forgets her ownself which she ended up in the Ghost Land. Another way of looking at it, she is so attached to the character and she seems to make herself as the character in the novel where she created her own fictional character in the Ghost Land.

Well, I just think it is a great story where the Pang brother idea came from just looking at the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop. They actually wonder where the stuffs in the recycle bin goes when we click delete. I think it was totally meaningful but the fact that the execution was kinda bad. Not to mention the 3D were sorta fake and the actors and actress were sorta wooden. Not to even mention the obvious lipsing (I hope I get the spelling right) problem.

I think it would be a great movie if they could carry in a bigger production and better casts and well better 3D.

Checker’s Opening Day
Backdated post. Actual event took place on 5 May 2006.

The time is right, the date is being set and the show will begin. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the opening of Checker’s Pub. Yeah, another new ground or place for us to hang out. Another place for us to gather and get together. Sit down, get a few drinks to get us started, musics to boost the energy and obviously friends to get us going on all night long.

Checker's Opening Day

Yes, obviously I was invited to the opening of this great place. How could I not be when my colleagues owns it ;). It starts of early in the evening but well, being fashionably late, I was there around 9pm. The place was packed. I could not see any familiar faces as it was so packed. I could only peek here and there… half way tip-toeing.

I finally saw some familiar faces behind the bar and at the DJ booth. But everyone was too busy to even got me entertained. I was walking around looking for a spot for me to dock and landed. Yeah… the right in front of the cashier place.

I didn’t have my dinner yet as Azli drove me to the venue. We thought we could have some food outside as Prem told us, there will be a sorta mini buffet. I guess we were late and the food were all gone. So me and Azli move on to Shafiqz and have our dinner (which was terrible).

Checker's Opening Day

The food was slow, the service is bad and not the even mention the portion was small. If I may say.. yes.. it’s very very small. Right, I haven’t even want to get down on the taste and how cold the dish was.. as if it was being left on the counter for several hours when some concern people finally notice someone wasn’t getting their food.

Well, that was that… didn’t want to spoil the good day so yeah… we quickly whack whatever stuff there is and move back in to Checker’s. Upon arriving, we quickly find a spot and manage to secure a place at the bar. Azli (the famous PR) was amazing. He seems to like know the whole world in Checker’s. Was handshaking and talking to every other people.

Yeah… I felt so odd out and then he busy introducing his friends to me. Hehe…. how sweet kan! Moments later, Loh came… and I thought I am fashionably late. Look who is later?

Checker's Opening Day

Just when you thought you saw him, he went missing again. He then went out and have dinner with Felicia. And the routine photo session just have to begin when everyone is back!

The camera is soon set in to action and all we ever sees is flash flash flash. Everything was just so cool. I finally met Prem’s housemates and all which I could only hear stories about in office. Not to even mention I met Prem and Adrian’s brother. Wow… just a whole new experience.

Checker's Opening Day

Just when everybody is busy taking pictures, the founding members of the pubs were being asked to go to the stage. Everyone was happy, excited and some were obviously shy. But right…. all of them looks cute right?

Checker's Opening Day

The night continues and more photos were taken. Right… when you hand a girl with a digital camera… make sure you have an at least 1GB memory stick that comes together with it.

Everyone was busy smiling, posing and what not in front of the camera. When suddenly a guy walk up to me and talk to me. Right, Azli (read here) make a big issue of it and posted a drama version of the conversation (yeah.. with loads of not true info).

By the way, Azli his name is Chris and he is not a blogger. He just so happen to read my blog and he didn’t say he always come to my blog la. See false info everywhere in your post.

Everyone was then busy drinking so me and felicia decided to take some pictures here there and everywhere.

Checker's Opening Day

The band then starts to play and everyone is busy dancing. Woo… I never know Adrian and wife can dance so well. Not to even mention adrian’s wife’s friend. Wow.. they can really do the salsa man. I was so fascinated I just stop all the activity and watch them dance.

It makes me have this sudden urge to go learn how to dance.

Checker's Opening Day

Prem and Adrian was so busy moving around as they were the host. Only after like 2 hours, then I can get them to settle down and take a flare family photo. Can you believe it, we have been in the same office for like 9 months or so and yet none of us have actually taken a together gether picture.

Hahaha… dun be jealous as I am the princess in the office. Yeah, I’m the only girl in the office which well I guess by now everyone treats me like a guy dy! :(

Anyway I still think it’s a nice and lovely picture.

Checker's Opening Day

Meng then make his grand appearance. And now I don’t think I am that fashionably late anymore as everyone tends to turn up later and later than me.

Just as he arrive, we already grab hold of him and take loads of pictures. Haha, right.. he didn’t even manage to finish his first beer and we already go like *click click.. flash flash*

Checker's Opening Day

Loh, felicia, meng and me left sorta early. Yeah around 1am. Just as we were about to leave, the band (The La Viva) plays their second set.

As we walk out the room, people were dancing and singing together with the band. Well, the band was great I must say. Serious… they were good and if that didn’t convince you, it manage to get Prem dancing… so yeah… that’s how great they are.

I mean like hello, (people who knows Prem) how many times have you seen Prem dancing? :| Right! I am so dead if he sees this… but… muahahahaha I am evil!

Project Crossroad: Jack In The Box
project crossroad

Doink… and out comes jack in the box. I always think it was scary. As a kid or even now. I still don’t understand how people could think clown that hides in a box as cute, funny and nice. I just finds it scary. Probably it has been overused in scary or horror movies back in the 80’s. But then anyhow, let’s see our own jack in the box.

Jaebot is back. This time around he have this cool ZiZou in Ze Box. With the current hot headbutting issue. I just love how he put and fully use the issue and put in nicely in to the topic. Brilliant and totally cool! But I still support you ZiZou. Headbutt man.. headbutt!

Jack In The Box - done by jaebot

Takeru’s jack in the box is currently Jack Out To Lunch Box. Hahaha… Just so cute, we needs a break, Jack needs a break too. Guess Jack will be back when Jack is done with lunch.

Jack In The Box - done by takeru

Jimbo is awaken again. This time, a new cutie character. A totally bone lover. Constantly biting a bone and imagine that jumping out of the box. Totally love the colour play and I still want the tee!

Jack In The Box - done by jimbo

I manage to submit my Meekey in the bin. Hehehe… I just tot it would be run to do a cute and cuddly mouse jumping out form a bin. Yeah… a Mickey wannabe. Everybody love Mickey! So yeah, pay some attention to Meekey too okay!

Jack In The Box - done by velverse

Right… miss Brian’s sheeps in action? Yeah.. he is sorta busy for the day and well… I’ll just add in tomorrow. So stay tune!

Jack In The Box - done by brian

*added on July 26th* Yeay Brian finally manage to submit his Sheep Outabox. Due to the late submission, I guess his sheepo sorta do the Flinstone’s style and runs here quickly. As scary as it can be, it finally set foot in our Crossroad submission. Bravo!

So near yet so far…

It’s one of those days when people would just have to get to my nerves. I wonder why? I have been getting grumpy lately and well.. they still have to get on my nerves.

Some PeeJay Guy: wangsa maju very far..
Some PeeJay Guy: kekeke

Me: depends how u see it
Me: hehe…
Some PeeJay Guy: see see can loh.. if drive.. kill me man..
Me: hahahahaa (laughing sarcastically)
Some PeeJay Guy: if u r in PJ.. no big deal.. keke
Me: people always say the same thing
Me: so it’s a boring thing to listen to
Me: they always assume they stay in a near place
Me: 2 can tell the same story
Me: (right… like I am begging you to come)
Some PeeJay Guy: hehe.. coz that area is my restrict area to visit..
Me: true
Me: i can also say you stay in a far place
Me: if you ask me to drive there kill me man
Me: and i can say if you are in wm
Me: no big deal
Some PeeJay Guy: assume? hehe… once time can lah..
Me: and pj is a restrict area for me to visit
Me: haha
Some PeeJay Guy: yaloh… so i dare not to “ask” u..
Me: it’s all in the mind anyway
Me: true
Me: you won’t ask too
Some PeeJay Guy: haha… see if one day u visit mid-valley.. or One.Utama.. let me know
Me: then if one day you visit the zoo
Me: or you go TAR college see college kids
Me: you can let me know too
Some PeeJay Guy: yamah…your area.. really heacache in jam
Me: hahahahaha (sarcastically laughing again)
Me: Look who is talking
Some PeeJay Guy: ya.. i never visit zoo negara..
Some PeeJay Guy: hehe.. I may visit tar college in pj..

Me: let me copy paste the headache in jam
Me: and let my fellow friends laugh a bit
Me: hahahahhaa (this time i totally lost it)
Some PeeJay Guy: hehe… a joke of the day
Me: coz as far as i am concern
Me: the road in front of one u jam almost every single day
Me: and you ask me to go one u?
Me: Wah… isn’t that cool when you say headache in jam
Me: not to even mention ss2 area jam
Some PeeJay Guy: hehe… one-U only can go after 11pm
Me: and sunway jam
Some Peejay Guy: yeah.. coz now i dun drive to work.. >_<
Me: right… so look who is complaining
Some Peejay Guy: kekeke… give up..!
Some Peejay Guy: don’t fire me.

The battle between going to PJ or coming down to KL is always the talk here. It’s always the saying it’s so far, it’s so far blah blah blah… the jam… the whatever nonsense they can come out with and try to throw at us. It’s always the same thing they tell me.. you stay very far blah blah blah.. right… if it’s far for you to come.. remember it’s far for me to go there as well.

Just stop all the dramas for a moment there mate. What’s even worst it’s like they make it as if I force them to come over or what not when the topic just pops out of no where. If you really think it’s that far to go anywhere or so afraid of the jam, then just stay home and never ever leave home.

Hello sweetheart!

It’s time of the month where I kept talking and crapping like no body’s business. I could if I want to and I want to. There were days in life where you wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Well considering that phrase is true. I just wonder why as every side of the bed seems same to me.

You wake up having this strong feeling it’s not a good day and everything goes wrong from there onwards. Just when you thought everything is going to be okay, it’s actually not. To top matters, there are some stanger guy who talks to you out of no where addressing me as sweetheart. Right… Mr. stranger say “hello sweetheart” and whistles. At times I just think it is unethical to disturb girls like that.

I dunno maybe it’s just me.. but well, if my memory serves me right no one other than my first boyfriend does call me “sweetheart”. Ah… right, so don’t call me sweetheart as you are merely a stranger to me and well please just adress me as “miss” or whatever shit not! But well… people who knows me well enough knows I am not sweet. As a matter of fact I can be so bitter I can make you feel like slapping me millions of times.

At times I just don’t understand how some guys could just disturb or well I dunno what you call that. To me, you either just look and walk or come up to me and talk to me or just don’t even look and me and walk. Don’t call me as if you were that close to me or mumbles to yourself and worst of all… don’t even try to whistle.

I think it’s rude. Right… many comes up to me and say, you are pretty that is why they would disturb or even bother to talk to you. Or else they would not even whistle, look or whatsoever you. Make a point clear, there are many other ways to do things than just whistle. I just think that’s not a good way!

And yeah… sweetheart is a little strong for me to accept from a stranger… so yeah BIG NO NO! Yeah, I would have chopped him in to small pieces with my samurai sword if not for cars behind who honk this fellow stranger for driving like a tortoise trying to tease someone else.

Yes, so fellow mates out there… please ensure you know how to address people before you even start learning your pick up lines.

Pirates of Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006)

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) The pirates made is awesomely big in the box office. I guess everyone is happy. Right.. they just gotta be that good to grab so much money from the audiences who pays to watch it.

There were almost the same amount of people who loved it and hated it at the same time. In every 10 people you may ask 5 says it was as good as hell… perhaps even better than hell. The other 5 would say it sinks a little compare to the first one. Some thinks it stinks big time. Whatever it is, they made a record $132 Million opening weekend.

As for me, I was totally blown away with the original pirates and was totally captivated by Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). And as far as I am concerned, I have been spelling Caribbean wrongly my whole life. I always thought it was Carribean. *sigh*

I always thought the movie didn’t needed any sequel to it. I think it was a perfect movie but well… since they have one installed for us, I thought it would be cool to watch it. Yes, I didn’t have high expectations as seriously, not much sequel movies make it to the top. Right.. lower the expectations hence I get lesser disappointments.

The slow starting opening was really slow and got me wondering. It opens with Elizabeth Swann (Kiera Knightly) wearing a wedding gown kneeling under the rain in an empty land. The scene looks so sad and scary as if she is mourning for someone’s death. Then you can see Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) comes in to the scene with Lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander). Both Will and Elizabeth is being caught and shall be hanged as they were accused of setting free Captain Jack Sparrow.

Cutler made a deal with Will. If Will manages to find Jack and get his magic compass, all three of them will be forgiven and no punishment shall fall on them. In a desperate need to save his love, he agreed and on the quest to find Jack.

On the other hand, Jack has problems of his own. He is a marked man. He owe Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) his life. Yes, he was given an offer by Davy Jones where he will raise the Black Pearl from the ocean and Jack Sparrow can be the captain of the ship for 13 years. When the time is up, he will have to join Davy Jones and be one of his seafood crewmate. Bootstrap Bill (Stellan Skarsgård) is sent by Davy Jones to convey such a misfortune news to Jack.

Jack who is so terrified that he no longer travel in the deep water and landed himself at a cannibal island. Will soon find himself in the island together with the other Black Pearl crew only to find out that Jack will be sacrificed and eaten. Well, like all movies, they surely do manage to get out of the island safe and sound. But the scene there was totally hilarious and exciting. I think it was totally cool and awesome.

They all soon travel in to the dark to find Tia Dalma (Naomie Harris) to find out more about the key and about what is in the chest. Will is then being cheated by Jack to go look for the Flying Dutchman (Davy Jones ship) and get the key. Right.. everyone is looking for the key as it unlocks the Deadman’s Chest.

On the boat, Will found out that Bootstrap Bill is his father and lots of emotional things happen. Like how he tries so hard to save his son that he even bet his eternal slavery to Davy Jones in a dice game because he couldn’t bear to see his son lost the game and stay on the ship forever.

Will then manages to steal the key from Davy Jones and head back to find Jack. On the other side, Elizabeth was in search of Jack. Finally at Tortuga, Elizabeth manages to find Jack and where Norrington (a lord that was suppose to capture Jack Sparrow in the 1st movie) decides to follow and sail with Jack.

They all soon group together and headed to the island where the Dead Man’s Chest is being burried. Upon locating the chest, the three men fight as Will wanted to stab the heart in the chest to save his father, Jack disagrees and wanted to keep the heart as Davy Jones is the only person who can controls the Krayken (the big octopus like monster that all boatman is afraid of), Norrington wants it to exchange for his freedom and regain back what he has lost.

Just as Jack thought he have the heart (which was actually being stolen by Norrington without him noticing). Davy Jones was angry when he found out that Will has stolen the keys and Jack has stolen the chest.

He then summon the Krayken and destroy the Black Pearl, sending it back in to the ocean. the Krayken takes Jack Sparrow with him this time.

Right, everything seems just so perfect and exciting. There weren’t many soft and slow moments. The jokes were totally funny and having Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow is the perfect choice. He totally carries out the character well and I totally root for him.

The CGI for Davy Jones and his seafood crewmates were incredible. It totally looked so real. It’s as if they stuck a real octopus at his chin. Totally loved it!

Yeah… however I find that Orlando and Kiera’s performance this time was rather bad compare to the first one. Orlando was rather wooden and doesn’t shine well even with all the attention and all. Kiera was plain pain in the ass. I don’t know… from the first time I saw her in this movie… I just felt like she has been so irritating. Don’t get me wrong, I think she was fine in Pride and Prejudice but… I don’t know, just so disappointing.

The story was a little jumpy. Jumpy as in they leave big gaps around for us to fill. It’s like there were still lots of untold. The bad part is, they have mysteries I cannot unsolved.

1. Where is that place that Jack went to get that map of the key?

2. How come they landed on the Cannibal Island? By accident or they were so afraid of the waters?

3. Davy Jones know that lots of people is looking for the Dead Man’s Chest and yet he buried it on an island where he knows he can only set food on land every 10 years. Why put it at place where you know you cannot do anything to save it when something went wrong? Why not put it at the bottom of the sea. Everyone knows sea is the only place man have problem exploring.

I hate to say it.. but the first one was by far the best however I am still looking forward to the third installment as I wanted to see Chow Yuen Fatt!

Project Crossroad: Little Samurai
project crossroad

Wee…. samurai *chop chop chop*. The furious, the masters of sword. Everyone somehow known the samurais for their great sword fighting. The long and sharp sword. This week, we hereby honour our fellow samurais by ilustrating our version of little samurai.

Radio, a friend of takeru emailed me a cool yet funky samurai. I totally love the colour play witht he funky colour. Not to even mention there is a hidden word in the illustration. Hehe… I found the word dy… so did you find the word?

Little Samurai - done by radio

Takeru just keep making me say wow from week to week with his cool illustrations. This week he submited his Takeru Samu which literally means Master Takeru. Right… I gotta bow to the master for his skillful illustration skills. Totally love the red background!

Little Samurai - done by takeru

Brian submited his cute little sheep samurai. Hehe…. with two egg look-a-like eyes and hehe kiddo samurai sword, the little sheep look just so stunning and adorable. Samurai Kick! Way to go man!

Little Samurai - done by Brian Wong

I also manage to submit my own version of samurai. With the touches of chinese caligraphy mixed with some western style. I can’t help to use some of the rough brush edges lines ad I notice it give a more asian feel to the illustration.

Spicy Beef Foldover

Spicy Beef Foldover

Woohoo… yet another delicious food being produced and easily available. Yes, with more and more 24 hours McDonald’s outlets, it’s never to hard to get hold of this new Spicy Beef Foldover.

As similar as it is to the Grilled Chicken Foldover, this time around the Spicy Beef Foldover is stuffed with marinated beef strips, crispy lettuce, onions, tomatoes and cheese. I personally think it is spicy enough to kill me (maybe I have sore throat). But well, at least it still stings me. I must say the amount of beef in the foldover is lessen by half from the amount shown in the poster. But well at least it is juicy enough to make the foldover not dry.

Yeap, unlike the Grilled Chicken Foldover… I find it rather dry since they didn’t exectly use real chicken meat. Instead they use those chicken burger meat which is rather dry, doesn’t exectly have any meat texture and to top that, it doesn’t have much gravy or sauce which makes it rather dry. Not to even mention I find that it taste like those McChicken burgers with extra lettuce and tomatoes.

The fact that for once I really taste meat and have the hang of the texture. Seriously, I never have this sorta feel eating any dish from the McDonald’s menu (except for the fried chicken). I don’t know, most of the time it tasted like any other processed food.

I totally loved the Spicy Beef Foldover compare to the Grilled Chicken Foldover because like I say, it is much juicier. It makes it easy to swallow and the spicy sauce just makes me more appertized.

Well, like I say not everyone fancy the same thing as most people enjoys the Grilled Chicken Foldover more. I think the Spicy Beef Foldover is cool… would be even better if they throw in more beef strips! Yumm…

The Spicy Beef Foldover McValue Meal (which comes with a carbonated drink and french fries) retails at RM8.95 (M), RM9.70 (L) or RM6.95 (ala carte)

Just My Luck: Luck is all they need :)

Just My Luck (2006)

Just My Luck (2006)Just My Luck official site: http://www.justmyluckmovie.com

Just when you think you don’t need any luck. Just when start to think as long as you work hard for it, you have the rights to earn every single bit of it. Just when you think fate and destiny kicked in. Right, we forgot that it comes down to a tiny winy bit of luck is need.

We obviously have some lucky charms, the famous “I feel lucky” google button. And yes, it all comes down to a little luck at times. And this time, Lindsay had it all.

I think it’s just cool being a girl that have all the luck in the world. When the sun shines for you, the cabs waiting for you, you pick up money on the way to work, date some rich guy, got some nice and expensive dress out of no where.

Yeap, Ashley Albright (Lindsay Lohan) is that lucky girl. Sha can do all the wrong things and yet it seems so right. All thanks to the luck she have.

On the other hand, I know it sounds cruel but everything have to have a balance. Jake Hardin (Chris Pine) is a bad luck guy. I guess he never have any luck in his entire life. He always do the wrong things and just gets in to trouble whenever and however. He got so used to it that he carries a big safety kit out, yeah his backpack is his safety kit, he have all the emergency numbers and knows exectly who to contact.

Jake is working in a bowling place where he found this talented group the McFly. He is all set to be their manager and tries very hard to reach Damon Phillips (Faizon Love). Damon is a very influential and rich man who owns some recording company.

Ashley whom just got promoted due to her luck is soon set in charge of a celebration party for Damon. During the mask party, she somehow got to know Jake and they danced and kissed. Yup, right when they kissed, their luck just swapped.

Ashley who don’t believe in luck in the first place start to believe in it when she lost almost everything she has and goes through a series of trouble and problem. When she finally believes in it, she is all set to find the guy that she kissed in the party.

On the way of finding, she gets to know Jake (not knowing that he is the man behind the mask). Yeah.. actually both of them didn’t know one another. Jakes tries to help Ashely as she thinks the bad luck things that happen on Ashley resembles on what he has been going through before.

Right with all the luck on Jake’s side, the McFly was a super hit! Instantly everyone liked them. And just when they will have a sorta big show at the Hard Rock, Ashley found out Jake was the one she kissed and decided to take back her kiss/luck.

Things then once againwent terrible for Jake. Well needless to say, Ashley got her luck back but she missed something. Hehe… yes, you guessed it correctly, she fell for Jake. Well… the ending… hemmm…. I guess you are smart enough to guess it. But incase you didn’t just watch it.

Yeah, I think it is an entertaining movie. Light and well, romantic. The songs perform my McFly themself were simply superb. Not to even mention the other tracks mixed in the movie. I think it was brilliantly slot in. What can I say, ordinary romantic comedy with nice songs! Worth to watch if you love the McFly, or you are simply a Lindsay fans. Ermmm… you could also watch it just to drool over Chris Pine if you haven’t have enough of him in the Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement.

Some girls are born lucky!

And talk about being lucky… So I guess I am one of the “some girls are born lucky” type . Hehe… yes yes yes… I am lucky but how come I never strike lottery or date a cute hunk like Chris Pine or have some rich man’s son drooling all over me. Sigh so not fair… maybe I oughta look like Lindsay in order to get all the others. Guess I should get started by learning to do the signature Lindsay, Paris wink. Yeah, wink with mouth 45 degrees open and must do it in a 3/4 face angle.
