Watched this TV series years ago, and honestly, it’s still one of the best I’ve ever seen.
The theme song really stood out to me.
I looked forward to hearing it every episode instead of skipping it like usual.
Turns out the vocals were Kelly Chen (陈慧琳), which totally surprised me.
I never thought I’d hear her singing a TVB theme song!
To my surprise, my favourite lyricist, Lam Zik (林夕), wrote the lyrics.
It becomes clear that both the series and the song remind us that change is sometimes unavoidable and that nothing stays the same forever.
Nothing lasts forever—no matter how good things seem, something better will always come along.
Is it possible for anyone to guarantee eternity?
