Or some unhappy words – Pain, Pride, Prejudice, Pushy.

For me, it’s a Porcupine.
Ahhh… when I saw Nicole‘s post about the good old (err… young) days pictures… it suddenly strike me that it’s really been a while since the four of us gather together. Yup, me, my sis, nicole and also joyce. I remember how the four of us would be so excited and eager to get together. Hehe… why? MAHJONG~
Hehe… now looking at the pictures, we are highly trained since young. Hehe… yeah, ever waiting for our parents to go toilet or tea break so that the four of us could just take over. It’s just so noisy and fun.
Hehe… of course it is still a tradition for us each time we get together. It is just so fun for us but I guess the last time the 4 of us got together and play was back 10 YEARS AGO! OMG! And I seriously do miss the times where we get together. It seriously brings back all the happy moments for us as kids.
Aren’t we cute kids with cool talents? Okay… probably a little chubby but hey… chubby kids are cute! Hemm… Nicole, when are you coming back and let’s Mahjong!
Scrolling through my photo album and noticed I missed out this post.
I had a strong feeling of posting this as Restoran Pun Chun brings back so much childhood memories.
As a kid, I am only able to taste their duck drumstick noodles when we go back to visit my relatives in Ipoh during school holidays.
But Brian and Gigi, brought me so much closer to Pun Chun.
They now have a branch near Brian’s house at Kota Kemuning, so we decided to pay a visit to re-live my good old memories. Me, Brian and Gigi ordered their famous Duck Drumstick Mee (RM6.50), while Deon doesn’t really fancy duck, hence he opt for the Wan Ton Mee (RM4.00).
I also ordered an extra bowl of Wan Ton Soup (RM4.90) to share around as I recalled how good it was.
Back then, me and my sister will always fight over the wantons.
To be honest, the food is far from it’s Ipoh standards.
The Duck Drumstick Mee is okay but the duck drumstick could be much smoother.
I think they overcooked it which resulted in the rough texture in the meat.
The wanton is a big disappointment. I used to remember how the ones in Bidor has so much fillings wrapped in a thin wanton skin.
Over here, the wanton skin was so thick which makes the flour taste overpowering.
While I was disappointed, I guess it will be a quick fix when I am craving for some Duck Drumstick Noodles.

Phew!!! I am just in time to post this post before my cuzzie’s birthday was over. It really isn’t easy to find the right pictures to suit the rite post. So, Happy Belated Birthday, my cute little cuzzie!! And since it’s your birthday, I decided to write something about you, you and you!!
Now, that girl on the left is my cousin… Nicole. Well, you would have know by now… she is the only cousin I am close with, since I was young. I wonder why… but well, I guess maybe we both were a little more “wide” than everyone else back then. Probably because my parents went down to KL for holidays that often and we would stay over at Nicole’s place.
Of course when she had to leave to study in Aussie, it is a little sad… and we slowly stop communicating. Until one fine day, MSN connects both of us. Now that’s how cool internet is! And yup, we catch up from then onwards. I guess I pretty much talk to my cousin every day.
The question of how come I’m so close to her still pops up once in a while. I guess it’s because we have a lot of thing in common. We both, for sure love to eat. Who doesn’t. We love sweet stuff!!! Yes, ice cream, cakes… yummie… syrup bandung!!! Also sausages… oh yeah~ I still remember our good old sausage galore moments in Bangkok. We love to take pictures and do cute poses and of course the “v” pose. We both fall in love with capsule toys… cute ones of course and for sure… any cute things.
And best of all, we both love traveling. Hehe… Bangkok was our first time I actually go on holiday with her. Hehe… it is really super fun! Cause… we can just eat, eat… and eat. And our “morning routine” fits in just fine. No fighting for toilets, no hassle and it’s all just free and easy.
Hehe.. I treat her like my own family member. Yup, everyone always says my mum have 3 daughters. Haha~ looking at the pic, I guess we have 2 pet mouse as well not forgetting my dear dear too.
Glad you both really could joke around well, looking at how both of you fight in the previous trip is really so laughable and funny. So yup, hope to see you real soon… and can’t wait to lepak and bake cupcakes together when I go visit you in Aussie. Me and Deon (and the cute panda, bear and er… I think is a dolphin) hope you have a great birthday. I’m so proud and happy to have a cute little cuz like you 🙂 . HAPPY SUPER DUPER BIRTHDAY!!! *hugz*
Inspired by Nicole‘s recent post, I decided to post up some multishot photo taken by my camera.
I like how my 📷; can actually take 16 shot at one go.
Best of all, it comes out as one piece, which is so much fun and impromptu.
The hardest part – of course is to think of 16 different pose and do it flawlessly at one go.
I am still trying to master it and do a flawless 16 perfect pose – no duplication poses and not blurry.
But to date, I have yet to succeed.
Doing it alone is already difficult, what more if you are doing it in a group.
But it can be quite fun and entertaining 😉.

Death Race, hemm… how would I exactly categorize the movie. It’s a little “Fast and Furious” and a little “Battle Royale” mixed together. Of course, the fast cars and Tyrese does reminded all of us about Fast and Furious. But I must say this is a little better, you get to see the violence and blood and haha… you get to hear chinese foul language. Now, this movie does create a little goose bumps for me cause I am kind of scared when it comes to movies that shows you brain cells flying everywhere, body pieces and blood splats everywhere. But hey, it does gets the blood pumping fast. Go for the action, ignore the storyline and the character development.

I kept telling myself “No, I won’t get it. I won’t get it.” but well, in the end… I still think it deserves a try. Yes, a movie with 3 lead actors who seriously needs to learn how to smile. Simple American says my sis don’t smile. Wait till he sees this 3 combos together. The title of the movie is pretty self explanatory. The empress, who else since there is only one lead actress. The warriors… hahaha.. of course the others who tries to protect her. From my understanding of this movie… there is nothing to understand. The whole show seems dull and boring.
It has been a while since I crave for a nice pot of Claypot Loh Shue Fun.
And so the adventure to look for a place that serves good Claypot Loh Shue Fun begins.
Our hunt ended at Restoran Mama’s Kitchen where according to reviews, are famous for their Claypot Loh Shue Fun.
I must agree with the reviews. Their Claypot Loh Shue Fun (RM10.00) is really good .
The sauce is just nice, rich and eggy but super smooth and soft.
Completely love the taste. The only comment I had – I wish they were less generous with the pork livers in the noodles.
Yup, I don’t really enjoy pork liver and should have asked for no liver.
I’ve also ordered other side dishes – Stir Fry Chicken with Cashew Nuts (RM12.00) and Fried Sui Kow (RM5.00) .
While the chicken is really tender and juicy, it is rather salty and oily.
And this comment is coming from someone who usually doesn’t mind oil and salt.
As for the Fried Sui Kow, nothing to shout about.
It is decent, nothing over the top.
The highlight dish is definitely the yummy Claypot Loh Shue Fun.

I finally manage to get my hands on the limited edition Kit Kat Cafe Latte 🍫.
So glad that there is a 7 Eleven near my office, so quickly grab a box.
Each Kit Kat box comes with 2 packet of chocolate which weighs 17g each.
I must say the design of the box may look quite bland, and I find it quite dark to be relatable to “latte” ☕.
Taste wise I find that it do have seriously strong coffee taste, to a point it is too overpowering the chocolate bar.

Yeah, another food finding adventure in SS2. We ended our quest of food finding at Island Cafe. Mmm.. the Island Cafe is pretty similar to other cafes like Station 1. With loads of variety of drinks and Hong Kong style food.
I ordered the Golden Sauce Chicken Chop Rice (RM8.90). Wooo… is rather filling as this dish consists of a big piece of chicken chop and 2 sticks of cocktail sausage. The golden sauce is rather spicy and similar to our local “Kam Heong” sauce. It tasted okay, except the fact that the sauce quite overpowered the whole dish.
De ordered the Bamboo Rice with Chicken Wings (RM12.90). Hehe… I like how they serve this dish. They placed the fried rice in the bamboo and served with a pair of chicken wings. The fried rice is quite yummy and the chicken wings is tasty.
As for drinks, we just wanted something not too sweet. So, I ordered a Cold Jasmine Tea (RM4.50) while De ordered Mineral Water (RM2.00).

Wow 😲, look what we have here – a new movie by Adam Sandler. Another comedy genre that he excels in. However, I think this movie has overly included a lot of product placement and sponsorships. But what surprises me the most, even Mariah Carey is promoted in the movie. The movie itself, is not a genre for everyone and at least not for me. I would personally categorize it as a political comedy movie. While to many this is laughable and a good way to tone down the war and politics subject, but in my opinion some of the jokes are not to my liking. And overly making a joke out of other nationality and how they speak or behave is surely not the best humour subject. I much prefer Adam in a rom-com or some other “smarter” and meaningful comedy movie.

As a Pixar animation movie fan 😍, Wall E is definitely a must watch. The movie trailer itself is enough to lead any 3D animation movie lover to watch it. I am especially amazed and wow-ed by the animators behind this movie as they manage to do a great job in delivering deep emotions in the robots despite them not having a mouth or speak any human language. While in my opinion, this isn’t the best Pixar movie, it is surely one of the best animation movie of the year. It got me thinking about the world we live in now and start questioning what kind of price are we paying for while we rely and depend such highly on technology and the convenience it brings us.

Okay, thank god for the free movie pass, else I would flip chairs. Just when I thought the movie “Forbidden Kingdom” was bad enough, this is above and beyond worst. The one star is my amazement on how the manage to get so many famous celebrity such as Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh to be in the movie. While I admire Michelle Yeoh’s hard work, I think she seriously needs to pick the movies she acts in as this is just bad. Don’t bother to try to understand this movie as it has no storyline, no continuity, no character development and no ending. After the movie ended, I practically questioned myself wondering what is the purpose of the show which literally make no sense at all.

Dr. Seuss is back with another fantasy like animated movie. His perspective and how he tells his story from a fantastical view never fails to amaze me. Not missing out on this one, since they had Jim Carrey doing voice over for it! I love how the animated movie is so vivid and colourful, while its humour is on point and not overly done. I also love how the movie also have the same thought and perspective as me. I mean, what if while we kept thinking we are living in big cities and the world is a big place, but what if the world we live in is only a tiny speck in the eyes of others out there. Are we being watched?
