Look who’s talkin!

Okay, I’m just gonna fill up this page with a post and NOPE. No pictures, not even a single emoji! Well, how’s that for a change? Hmm… I guess everyone’s tired of seeing my face, including myself. Yeah, we all deserve a break.

I’ve got so much I want to post but barely any time to actually write about it. I don’t have a laptop or a palmtop, or whatever else people use. Honestly, I’m too lazy to jot things down in a notebook and then transfer them here. Plus, it wouldn’t feel like my original thoughts anymore as I’d probably modify things, perfect my English. The truth is my English is horrible and  has never been great! That’s why instead of typing “well-versed,” it ends up being “velverse.”

If you think my English isn’t good, that’s fine sinceI never claimed it was. I just use this space to write whatever I want, and using spell check on it seems silly and doesn’t make any sense.

Today was wonderful and I enjoyed a half day during our office away day. Yay! I love it when there’s less work and more time to unwind, relax, and have fun. I grabbed a late lunch at Chili’s, then hung out with my colleagues. I’m absolutely full! Afterwards, we had a “Lawatan Sambil Belajar” (study visit) to the Aquaria.

It was my first trip there, and I brought my camera along. Originally I was so happy, but when I got home and checked the photos, they turned out really bad. Everything was blurry! It looked like I had a serious hand-shake problem. Okay, maybe I’ll still upload some of the better pictures when I have time.

Afterwards, we jumped into the car and headed to the Renaissance Hotel for the client’s Open House Gathering. Wow! There were so many people, it was truly a massive crowd. We managed to find seats for ourselves. The clients joined us and chatted with us for a while. They kept encouraging me to eat, but my late and wonderful lunch just hadn’t settled yet. I could barely find any room, but my always-greedy self couldn’t resist the “onde-onde.” It wasn’t great, but I still had to have some. I didn’t get to eat any during this Raya!

Whew, I’m back! I just returned from the gathering. Looks like it’s time for me to flood everyone’s bandwidth with even more photos.

While having breakfast with my sister, we saw a couple make a dramatic entrance at the coffee shop. The woman held a small dog and the man carried a bright pink cage, drawing everyone’s attention.

They often proclaim how much they love dogs, which can be quite irritating; especially when someone keeps emphasizing it. It seems that, to them, being a dog lover only applies to “pretty dogs” or specific pure breeds. In my view, some people treat dogs more like substitutes for branded handbags than as actual companions.

Love dogs? I wonder if they do really care about local breed dogs or even stray dogs.
I doubt so, I don’t think they care. They always also claim that “dogs are men’s best friend”
And sometimes I wonder, do they really lock and chain their best friend?
If so, please don’t treat me as your best friend.
I don’t want to be locked and chained.

You really love dogs? Sometimes I wonder if people truly care about local breeds or stray dogs. Honestly, I have my doubts. People often say “dogs are man’s best friend,” but I question if they will lock u and chain their best friends. If that’s what friendship means to them, I want no part of it and I’d rather not be treated that way.

It’s especially funny when they complain about not being allowed to do what they want by parents or partners. Here, they lock up the animals in what is referred to as a home or cage, and chained them. When you keep animals inside, they’re stuck walking on slippery floors, which just isn’t what their paws or feet are built for. They make the poor animals listen to their complaints when they’re upset, but as soon as they’re happy, they go out with friends and forget about their so-called “best friend.”

Even worse, some people make their pets wear “clown clothing” and show them off in public. Occasionally, they go as far as giving their pets silly hairstyles, and some even take it further by dyeing their fur. Haha, sometimes they’ll even brag about which famous stylist helped groom their pet’s look.

In some cases, people force the animal to breed and produce babies. Perhaps the dog already has someone in mind? While love can’t be forced, it seems acceptable when it comes to their cherished pet.

This doesn’t define a dog lover; it seems more sarcastic and attention-seeking. You always say you love your pets, but honestly, it doesn’t really look like it. It’s kind of disappointing.

I’m sorry, but I’m not your bar of chocolate. I may seem sweet, but if you get to know me, you will know that I’m actually a bitter-sweet chocolate. Youu’ll find I’m more bitter than sweet andmy bitterness is overwhelming and unforgiving. No mercy just bitterness.

Thank you, “Snickers,” for wanting to look after me. It’s nice to know sweet chocolates still exist.

Last week, I lost my bracelet that I had for about 2 or 3 years—one of my absolute favorite pieces.
It was super colorful, so I could easily match it with pretty much any outfit, whether it was green, orange, red, or pink.
When I noticed it was gone while I was in a taxi, I checked everywhere—both in the car and my bag, but no luck finding it.

When I got home, I started looking everywhere for my bracelet.
I checked all the spots I’d been that morning, but couldn’t find it.
Even after searching, it’s still gone—maybe it just wasn’t meant to be mine.

My sister knocked my room door and said “Hey, why did you leave your bracelet outside the house?”
I suppose the auntie who sweeps outside probably found it on the floor and hung it on the window.
Silly me! I was just busy searching on the floor

Yes, what’s meant for me will always be mine—no one can take it away.
Thank you! I believe that “god must have spent a little more time on me”.

Sometimes people are simply forgetful; other times, they wish to forget.

Forgetting is difficult, but being forgotten happens easily. I was forgotten yesterday, and will likely be so today and in the days ahead.

One day, it will be my turn to forget what has been forgotten.

Most of the time, I just like to sit back and think.
There’s always so much running through my head.
Still, thinking too much can mess things up and sometimes it even creates new problems. People say you should fix every problem you have, but is that really doable?
Honestly, I sometimes wonder if there’s ever an end to dealing with all this stuff.

People always say it’s easier to talk than to actually do something, especially when you’re right in the middle of it.
Sure, folks tell me to just fix my problems, but honestly, I just don’t have the energy right now. The issues keep coming one after another, so finding a real solution feels impossible sometimes.
All this stuff makes me feel stuck and unsure about what to do next.

You know, I really think everyone’s got their own character.
We’re all born with our own quirks and personalities, and that’s what makes each of us stand out.
But a lot of the time, people end up changing just to blend in or get accepted by others, and in the process, they kinda lose a bit of their true self.
It’s a shame, really, because that’s the best part about being you.

I’m always going to be myself.
What you see is what you get.
I’m not about to change just because someone else doesn’t like it.
If they can’t handle that, well, that’s their problem, not mine.
Life isn’t going to pause or adjust just to suit someone’s feelings.
If they can’t deal, they’re welcome to move on.
I honestly couldn’t care less.
