On a chill day as a designer, I’m rocking a cute ponytail.
This moment totally gets my creative juices flowing for my next doodle.

Hey everyone! Meet my awesome teammates—the Shirokuns.
Not all of them made it into the photo, but here are a bunch of folks I hang out or chat with most days.

Maggie – Assistant Producer
Always buat lawak and can laugh non-stop. Haha, and I really mean it when I say non-stop.

Jun – Scriptwriter cum. Assistant Producer
Just look at that lengthy job title, you’d know she writes a lot.
But when it comes to speaking Cantonese, confirm K.O.

Stella – Designer
The legendary Stella, my other partner in crime when it comes to designing.

Wei Keat – Programmer
He’s the person who brings our designs to life.
We’re always joking around together and someone I talk crap with.
He’s a super nice guy except when he starts talking about things that are a bit gross.

Leng – Editor
Our thin and tall editor often inspires envy in everyone.
She’s also our superwoman and “miss one leg kick”, as she frequently manages everything single-handedly.

Ashroff – Line Producer
He’s constantly busy and rarely found in the office.
Though he’s growing wider in size, he remains incredibly charming and approachable.
By the way, he’s also part of the “Disagree” band.

Charmayne – Assistant Producer
Newest Shiroku family member.
I will always remember her for introducing me to “couscous”
Hi everyone. Today, I want to introduce you all to the “web angels” at Shiroku.
That’s right! Me and Stella is the company’s two designers.

Most of the time, this is how we look before overtime starts.
Otherwise, you’ll usually find us resembling either a panda or a zombie.

This is one of those moments when we’re really happy and excited.
Why? Cause we get to finish work earlier than usual.
That definitely calls for a photo to remember it by.

This is my ET colleague – Maggie.
We both click and connect well.

We both randomly come up with jokes and burst into laughter.
This is enough to turn all the boring overtime hours into something lively and fun.

And together, the three of us are Shiroku’s web angels.
Because we design, manage and deliver all the web design jobs.
Together, what job also can kau tim.
Mou man tai la!

Well done girls!
We did well in completing the jobs for the day.
I’m hungry. Let’s go eat tom yum now.

OK, sau gung la!
See you all tomorrow.

Back when I started working, Fridays were honestly the best.
Seriously, no other day even came close!
It meant work was done and the weekend was about to kick off.
It also meant 2 awesome nights of eating, partying, sleeping—then repeating the whole thing all over again.
But honestly, as I got older, things changed.
I’m not sure I like Fridays all that much anymore—maybe because now it’s basically my “overtime day.”
Fridays never really feel like the end of work since everyone wants to wrap things up before the weekend. Some folks think they’re being nice by asking for stuff first thing Monday, but honestly, it’s funny as they act like weekends are just more work time anyway.
Maybe they forget that we actually chill out on weekends too, just like them.
I need to take a break from negativity.
Let’s make something relaxing.

What are dreams?
What makes someone dream?
What are dreams made of?
These are some of the thoughts that cross my mind, because I rarely dream when I sleep. When I do have dreams, they’re never pleasant. In fact, I can’t remember anything good ever happening in any of them.
Always feel envious of those who talk about their wonderful and beautiful dreams.
I wish it were more magical and mystical.
Probably something that looks like this.

Finally had the time to upload photos.
Think Jimbo will continuously send me “friendly reminder” texts if I still haven’t upload these.
Haha, I have constantly received the “nak tengok” text for the past couple of days.
And now a new complaint – why it’s not uploaded on Friendster?
Hmmm… really hard to please ni!
Btw, love the red-themed colour party. The photos look so charming and pop.
Ok, now enjoy the pictures Jimbo.
I’m so glad it’s finally Friday!
Can’t wait for tonight—so pumped for my sifu Teekay and Rashidin’s farewell party!
Been looking forward to this day!
Both were my mentors during my time at XM, and I am truly grateful for their guidance and mentorship over the years. Most importantly, I appreciate the trust and opportunities they gave me, along with the freedom and encouragement to explore bold and creative ideas in my designs.
I’m sure it’s going to be a fun night.
Can’t wait to meet up with the gang!
Party giler!
Brain fried — describes the state of being so exhausted that you can’t think clearly.
The biggest issue is losing electricity and Internet, which delays work.
It’s frustrating to travel to 1Utama just to get connected.
Hope things improve tomorrow; the frequent trips are getting irritated and tiring.
