Haha… This is beautiful, no?
My first time having henna on my hand.
Felt a little ticklish and cold… but
I totally love.. love love.. it.
It’s been a while, since I last had such wonderful dishes.
Best is when shared with family.
The coconut chicken soup is simply amazing.
And reminds me a lot on my childhood comfort food 🙂
But nothing beats the claypot fish head with yam and the steamed rice wrapped in lotus leaves.
In general, I really am not a big fan of both, but boy… am I wrong 😐
I’m totally blown away with the flavours. *jumps around*
Woo, and I really didn’t notice how long the pork ribs are before… wow!
*nyum nyum* everything tasted so good!! How lah?
Now I wish my stomach can fit more. *giggles*

Charbroiled cajun spiced Mahi Mahi with Bourbon sauce and grilled shrimp, served over mashed potatoes.
Wee… from Beijing to Sydney.
Yes I know, I think I have fully utilized my quota of holidays for 2012 in October.
From Autumn in Beijing to Spring in Sydney… it’s simply stunning and awesome.
What made the holiday sweeter, was my best-est cousin got married.
And I’m the cute bridesmaid *giggles*
Pictres?? Awesome shots, beautiful scenic views.
Sharing?? Definately… right after I finish posting my Beijing posts!
My very first trip to Beijing, China.
It is quite different from my expectations and love the beauty of it’s old and new architecture.
I love the culture and it makes me wonder how is it impossible for them to create and build such mesmerize buildings.
But nothing beats the irony, of this song was being played at a shop when I was there.
How appropriate isn’t it? *classic*
More amazing Beijing post to come 🙂
Mmm.. it’s always a great reason to celebrate.
Why? Cause it’s my little niece’s birthday! *jumps around happily*
This year we’ll celebrate with a little twist. No longer western… instead something asian, and something fresh.
Where? Definately at one of the finest, Kampachi Restaurant by Equatorial.
Guess what, they brought us the summer fresh seafood selection for us to choose. And we go goo-goo-ga-ga crazy!
I’m speechless and just can’t help sweeping everything clean. *slurp slurp*
My first time trying Akagai Sashimi and I’m loving it!
Simply awesome and fresh!
You must be kidding me… definately there’s more to share.
Nothing beats the signature Kampachi Maki… even mum can’t help but to give it two thumbs up!
And I really didn’t have the heart to eat the Tori Teba Karaage… don’t it look like a pair of angel’s wings? *awww… love love love*
Little princess sure have her own surprise.
*giggles* I love how the food was presented.
And I really want to smuggle the cute bento box home!
My parent’s simply adore their fish dish.
Be it salmon or mackeral… mmm, what can I say they just love it!
As for me, nothing beats a good medium well beef steak!
It’s been ages since some restaurant really serve me a perfect medium well steak..
*oooo la la* I’m a happy customer already 🙂
As for my sis, her choice is basically a combination of what me and my parents ordered.
*yum yum* say yeay to bento!
*burp* I think we need something sweet to complete our meal.
And what better than a cute jelly pooh bear cake!
I’m glad my niece love the jelly cake.
Weirdly, she adore the bees more than pooh himself.
Oh yes.. she enjoys picking out and eating the word “happy birthday” too.
Awww… isn’t she adorable? HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dear Leanne~ 🎂

It’s really amazing to see kids draw… and how colourful their world is 🙂
And it’s definately worth it to wake up early in the morning…
to witness and join in such an eventful and interesting “I Art You Malaysia” project.
Definately inspire me to pick up my pen and start doodling once again. *yeay*
I’ve heard a lot about the Tokyo Street in Pavilion, but this my first time here.
The place does looks very interesting.
Lots of colours, lots of pattern and neon lights.
*love… love, love* It does have that Japanese look especially the entrance is decorated with a big lantern.
Now I think this could be my new favourite hangout! 😍
And ooo.. I spotted some interesting food stalls and restaurant. *yeay*
Mmm… I’m in the mood for Korean food.
So into it… that I decided too make my own.
Something soupy… something easy!
Cause cooking for one self, things just got to be fast, easy and effortless!
Korean Kimchi Beef Soup with Enoki Mushroom it is!!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 1 – 2 person
Ingrediants:
1/8 chinese cabbage or nappa cabbage, washed and cut
1 packet enoki mushrooms, stalks removed and pulled apart
1/2 cup of jarred kimchi
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
500ml beef or vegetable stock
10 pieces pre-sliced ‘shabu shabu’ beef meat
1 tablespoon oil
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1) In a pot, heat oil on medium heat and sautee onion until brown and fragrant.
2) Add in kimchi and continue to sautee for another 2 mins.
3) Add in beef stock and chinese cabbage and bring to a boil. Once boil, reduce heat, cover and allow dish to simmer for 5 mins.
4) Uncover, add in enoki mushrooms and then taste and adjust seasoning (salt and pepper) based on personal preference.
5) Bring dish to a boil and add in pre-sliced ‘shabu shabu’ beef meat and gently swish beef gently back and forth in the boiling soup until it changes color (10 – 20 sec)*.
6) Switch off fire and serve soup in a bowl immediately.
*Note:
I personally prefer beef to be medium-cooked. The moment I add in the sliced beef inside, I would switch off the fire and then gently swish beef back and forth as beef will still continue to cook in the hot soup.
