Movie Title: 69세 (An Old Lady)
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (6/10)
Year: 2019
Decisions are always hard to make.
Since the earliest of time, it was not something easy.
It is always best when we can have the best of both worlds.
But not everything in life happens as we all wished or expected.
There will be this very one day that make us all realize, 忠義兩難全.
And when it can’t exist at the same ecosystem, some decisions will need to be made.
What would that be?
I found my answer when I was scrolling online.
This line helped me come to a conclusion – 忠是對於個體,義是對於總體。
And guess what, as I was finishing this post the song 緣盡 was playing 😂.
The other irony part was the song 堅持到底 was playing from the playlist as I wrote this.
Sometimes god just have their ways of sending you hints and messages.
Someone told me Covid-19 is not all negative, look at it on the bright side 🌞.
We will all learn a little thing or two from it.
And bring us to realise things we never would on normal days.
On this very day, I finally realise tone and manner is so important especially on the “text” world.
I realise that there are many who type and reply without even reading, what more understanding the context.
And have the bravery to reply on a condescending “I am smarter than you, I know so much more then you ” tone.
But it’s also because of this, we found unity.
We all knew and mutually understood each other with just a 😂 emoticon.
I’m glad, at times like this many of us stood up for what is right despite previous conflict.
Even the smallest gesture of highlighting that one is missing the point and course correcting the conversation.
It is indeed a memorable day, as it was the first time we understood each other.
40 years and yet still as charming as the first time I saw you sing 😍.
That confident yet warm smile.
That humble thank you 🙏.
And that charming humour still remains the same.
Thank you 華仔 for the wonderful 40 years.
Thank you for your hard work and determination.
Thank you for entertaining us.
Hope that we will have another wonderful 40 years to be together.
Always support you 💪💪.
I find that it is getting harder to keep my cool 😎 as I grew older.
Getting all worked out over repeated questions.
Hate the fact that people just ask random questions out of thin air, without proper context.
At times it makes us felt like we are cornered or even used to provide an answer to others benefits.
And most of the cases, answers provided are just being used as a cushion.
The standard, I asked you and you said so.
Yes, I said so. And I am not shy to admit and will stand by to what I said.
Echoing the best line from my favourite movie – Oldboy: “Your gravest mistake wasn’t failing to find the answer. If you keep asking the wrong questions, you’ll never find the right answer”
Frame your question with a proper context, else you will end up keep asking the same questions and getting all the wrong answers.
Received a pleasant surprise 😲 from Mable.
A homemade burnt cheesecake 🍰 said to be baked freshly from her very own kitchen .
Have known and work with her for the past 6 years, coming to 7 years.
And yet the very first cake she baked for us 😂.
The first was supposed to be after she completed her baking classes, but Covid happened.
And hope this is not the last despite it was her farewell gift 🎁.
Could still remember when I first interviewed her, and glad to see how far she has grown to now.
To see her grow in the past 6 years is like a mother looking at their daughter grew up day by day.
No words can explain how proud I am for her, tho I may not have expressed it well.
All the best Mable! Spread your wings and fly, and wish you reach to the place you always dreamed of.
And let’s catch up for 🍶 Soju and Korean BBQ 🍖 after all this chaos.

Was scrolling through my Instagram earlier this week and was shown this post.
Yeay! It’s Andy Lau’s 40th Debut Anniversary is finally coming up 😍!
It’s really not easy to come this far, and it’s definitely something worth celebrating.
Thank you for the amazing 40 years of hard work and 💯 dedication.
Thank you for all the entertainment, laughter and joy brought to my life.
Thank you for all the motivation and inspiration 💖.
Hope there will be another 40 more years to come.
Keep it up 💪. You can do it !
See you on the 29th of July 2021.
I was commonly described as someone who has patience 😇.
I personally don’t agree with it. Think most of them are just too kind.
In fact, as I grew older I find my patience level is constantly put to a test.
It was not until recent, when it was in the lockdown that I noticed it’s not me that are patient.
It’s the people I am surrounded with are impatient and are becoming more impatient during this time.
The consistent deep breathe and that annoyed voice.
Occasionally they throw in some “tsk” sound and a raised voice.
Sometimes it makes us wonder;
What happened?
What is wrong with asking?
What is wrong with asking repeated questions to clarify and confirm?
Maybe I was outdated.
I wasn’t sure since when confirmation has become annoying.
Sigh 😪.. sometimes I guess we all wish something we did was wrong.
At least you can convince yourself, you deserve it because you did something wrong.
