es·car·got – An edible snail, especially one prepared as an appetizer or entree.
I was having dinner at Victoria’s Station in Damansara yesterday. And guess what, I finally brave myself to try escargot. Well, it was not as weird and scary as I expect in comparison to eating “balitong”. It takes me a long time to just try to suck or pick the piece of snail meat, and I find it not worthy of the effort and time.
Now, back to the escargot – I find that it looks exactly like a piece of burnt piece of mini brain, topped with loads of garlic sauce. I supposed the chef tried to hide the taste of the escargot with strong and flavourful sauce. I am OK with it’s texture, but not too sure if I can handle it if one day it is served in a less flavourful sauce.
