Ah… lunch away from the usual spot around the office sounds just so good. Then again, I must really thank god my office is just like 5 minutes away from The Curve and Ikano Power Centre.
Me and Deon drop by the post office at Ikano and so… we decided to lunch at Kluang Station. I’ve actually pass by this place many times when I finally decided to give it a try. Yeah, I could still remember, this shop was previously a Winter Warmers shop.
Deon ordered the Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken (RM8.30). Mmm… the portion is pretty huge, in my opinion. The Nasi Lemak here is served with loads of sambal, anchovies, roasted peanuts and half an egg. Topped with a whole chicken leg. I didn’t exactly enjoy the sambal so it didn’t exactly score for me… too sweet I recon.
Mmmm… I can’t help but too order the Beef Rendang with Salted Egg (RM8.80) as soon as I spotted the word “salted egg” on the menu. I think they pretty much use the same sambal for the rendang and the nasi lemak. So yeah, the rendang is kinda sweet as well… but thank god for the salted egg. It sorta saves the day and make this dish a more appetizing one.
We both ordered their Cham Cold (RM2.80). Er… it is sorta okay. I mean… what can I say, it isn’t out of this world… and yet it just isn’t that bad. I tasted worst before.
