I was first exposed to this song probably 6 – 7 years ago.
Back then a lot of my friends were into J-pop, and I was like “What? What pop again?”.
Now that I think back, I feel so outdated and out of place.
Back then J-pop bands were quite popular, and they would constantly introduce me to various bands.
Most of them, I find them too heavy metal and noisy, except for this specific song.
They introduce me to many songs but normally the J-Pop rock song.. I find it quite heavy and noisy.. except for this one.
This was one of the slower and less noisy one.
Couldn’t believe that this song was a masterpiece by the famous Japanese rock band, Luna Sea.
To my surprise, it was also the theme song for the popular Japanese series (God, Please Give Me More Time) back then.
The series featured the good looking Takeshi Kaneshiro and the beautiful Kyoko Fukuda.
Back then, I never really understood what this song meant.
I just purely love the tune and the strong emotional feel the singer had for the song.
Every time I hear this song, I could feel the pain and heartache.
It was not until recently where I found the translation to this song, I felt so moved by it and I love this song so much more now.
After listening to this song, I really want to gather every piece of light and give it all to them ♥.
