Okay… I was peeking at my didi, Monkticon‘s blog and saw this fun stuff. Since I am his ah jie… I wonder how well I actually know him… not bad I guess. I manage to pull out not as bad as I thought I would. Well.. then again.. not good enough as ah jie. I decided that I would list out a question about me and see if people I am close with know me well enough as well. Hehe… have fun~ Create your own Friend Test hereÂ

Me… Meme and Fun Stuffz!
I have been watching a lot of Korean dramas these days and observed this new trend – Black Day.
It is something new that I learnt.
What is Black Day?
Black Day is celebrated 2 months after Valentines Day on April 14.
It’s an informal Korean tradition for single people to gather together and eat Zhajiangmian (炸醬麵).
Wow 😲, I guess it is another wonderful excuse to gather and eat.
Jom, let’s party tomorrow since it is a long weekend 😉.
We have just enough time to eat, chit chat, drink, get high, party and sleep.
I have been tagged by Nicole (she started of this tag). Right, we have been talking about food and eating each time we chat. She asking where I will take her to when she comes over. I asked her what is good over at her place… and she then came up with the idea of making a tag listing up the top 5 places of food one would recommend. Hence with the gathering of this info, we could end up with a good bundle of only the best. The rules are simple: Nicole (Sydney, Australia) 3. Tag 5 other people (preferable from other countries/states) Counting down to great food I would recommend. Jogoya is one of the places I would recommend to anyone who come visit me. Well, yeah… it isn’t exactly any local food. In fact it is a Japanese buffet spread owned by some Taiwanese corporate. However I still think it’s one great joint to dine in. Jogoya serves a large spread of buffet. Varities from sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, teriyaki, steamed food, soups, tempuras, desserts, cakes, cookies and not to mention various variety of drinks. One could possibly get lots in this place as they were too mesmerized. I remember the last time I went, I just go crazy over their sashimi and had like 4 plates of them with many other stuff like soft shell crabs, grilled mussels, steam fish, soup… ah.. countless. I hardly can believe (neither does my friends) when they see me eat non stop for like 3 hours while others were sitting there burping. Eyes rolled big and all they ever say was “Wah!! You really can eat hor?” Hem… I wonder~ I somewhat think their food is fresh and for the amount that I manage to it, it’s really worth the price. So yes, I don’t mind going all over again. Anyone? Address: Ah… some local chinese stall to recommend. If you really love beef, Ngau Kee beef noodles is not to be missed. This stall has been there for decades. As far as I remember, many people brought me there and I must say, each time I went there… it never fails me. As time goes by, they are pretty much more flexible. You could actually mix and match you stuffs. Can choose from dry or soup based beef noodles. One can also choose the type of noodles… not to mention you can actually mix them as well. I prefer the dry type which comes with minced beef on top of the noodles. They then serve you a bowl of soup with beef balls, beef tendons, beef slices and even beef intestines. Well, one could actually even custom what they want in their bowl of soup. In which one of the reasons why I actually like this place. Of course having a good bowl of noodles with great beef balls is not the only thing that catch my attention. Their pot of chili sauce plays a great big role too. It’s simply out of this world and there are times I wish no one was looking so I could actually steal the entire claypot home for myself. Address: I always believe people who visited Malaysia must try out our specialty, nasi lemak. Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa serves one of the best nasi lemak in town. I still remember the first time I set foot at this place was when I work in my previous company. One of my colleague did a food review for clients and tag me along. The best part, we ordered and ordered. Eat and eat… and at the end of the day… we didn’t have to pay a cent. It isn’t called Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa for nothing. At it’s wall, one could see that many people around the world actually drop by tried and leave behind some comments. Not to mention stars and artists leaving their remarks and signature there. Nasi lemak is almost the same everywhere, few slices of cucumber, peanuts, ikan bilis, coconut rice and sambal. Right… and the most important thing that distinguish one from the rest would be it’s sambal. Here at Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa… they simply nailed it! Besides the basic nasi lemak, they have lots of other variety of stuffs to add on. They had so many to choose from, friend chicken, curry chicken, beef rendang, sambal sotong, curried beef lungs and many more. When talk about nasi lemak… I somehow still think they serve one of the best nasi lemak in town. Address: Leong Ya is a place I really enjoy going when I stayed in Sri Kembangan during my uni days. Each time my parents came visit me, I can’t help but wish they would want to go there. It is a typical chinese restaurant which serves lots of chinese dishes. However, they are really famous for their Paper Wrapped Chicken. Right, one can never miss out their signature dish as it taste really good. The thick and sweet gravy covering the entire chicken. Mmmm… each time unwrapping the chicken is like unwrapping gifts. I each time prayed for chicken wings and much to my disappointments… I always failed to find it. Besides their famous Paper Wrapped Chicken, their Yong Tau Fu is also highly recommended. I could just eat their Yong Tau Fu and their Paper Wrapped Chicken. Ah…. I really could… I really want to… I really did. Times like this, I wish I am back at my uni days where Leong Ya is just so near.. I could actually walk to that place. Address: Wong Poh Restaurant is the place me and my fellow uni mates had our Chinese New Year dinner last year. I find their food there was simply amazing. It’s a common norm that during Chinese New Year, most restaurants’ food quality would drop due to overwhelm response.. Wong Poh however didn’t fail me. Noted for it’s Cheese Crabs in Claypot. Yes, Cheese Crabs in Claypot is simply amazing as the thick gravy wrapped around the crab meat. I am glad the crab meat was fresh and that contributed much to it being prefect. Besides that their Butter Crabs and Salted Egg Crabs were great too. No kidding.. A great place to just eat crabs when you have cravings for it. Besides their crab dish. I kinda like their Fried Sotong and Pepper Salted Prawns. It’s just delicious. Now… I felt like having crabs.. *slurp* Address: Five person I would like to tag… 1. Leonard (Singapore) *Updated link on those who have done the meme.* Austria Australia Belgium Bosnia and Herzegovina Canada Colombia Egypt France Germany Greece Hong Kong India Indonesia Ireland Israel Italy Japan Malaysia Macau New Zealand Norway Philippines Portugal Puerto Rico Singapore South Africa South Korea Spain Sweden Switzerland Thailand Turkey United Arab Emirates United Kingdom United States of America From all over

Hemm… the tag finally catch up on me when I thought I could just slip away without anyone noticing. Apparently redsponge noticed and hence I was tagged. Wah…the most scary W question out of the 5W and 1H question is “WHY”. WHY? Cause “over.time” lor! WHY? Cause this is a REJECT shop. WHY? Cause I’m ARTY-FARTY WHY? Sharing is caring. WHY? Cause I prefer typing to writing. |
To clarify some points… no, this is not a collaborative effort in promoting IKEA. No way… I am not making any money out of this… just think it would be cool if we all use a standard lamp *wink*. Now… let’s start having fun~ |
A year has come and will be gone in like just 2 days. Has it been an exciting year for me? Have I changed? Would I say it is a good year? Probably I am aging with time… I came to notice time is ticking extremely fast. Everyday… I leave my house in the morning only to see it again the next morning. I asked myself, what have I missed out? I really can’t answer that. Day by day just pass… at times I wonder how come it seems to be passing by faster than it used to be. Is it just me being slower or is the clock ticking faster? I don’t know… I tend to feel I am running out of time while everyone around me just felt like there’s lots of time left. People will still be fashionably late or say stuff like.. it’s okay, I’ve got time.. I’ll wait. Time and tide wait for no man my friend… they wait for no man. Well.. I guess that’s life. I used to wish I can grow up to be an adult sooner only to want to remain as a small kid now. Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think? Okay… well, it wasn’t all that bad. These past few weeks, I have been busy planning out what I want to do and achieve for 2007. Don’t ask me why… I dunno.. sudden thing. I guess there was a burning desire in me which makes me want to plan things out and hope to execute it as planned. Well… there are lots of stuffs I want to do… mainly with my career and creativity. Right, I have wasted lots of my time doing nothing and running aimlessly in the dark for sometime. So yeah… let’s hope I manage to follow the breadcrumbs this time. I have come up with this project which I wish to launch it next year… er.. practically in 2 days time. It’s called passion. Well… this project was something I talk and talk about for like a year or so (click to view post). Of course I have altered the initial intention of this project. Yes, you know I am dead serious about this when I spend such long time to create the logo and even spend months thinking of tag lines… colours and all. Similar to project crossroad… passion will be a collaborative effort. This time around.. it’s not limited to drawings only but a much more larger scale of stuff. I just gotta say… just pass the passion for creativity around coz I seriously believe everyone is creative in their own way. Which everyone denies and only thinks that designers are the creative person. Look around you… how you mix and match your cloths… how you imagine of decorating your own home, how you create new recipes and many others… it’s all creativity. So yes, get ready to see what is installed for you next year. Good question of whether I will take out Project Crossroad? I have no idea… don’t think I will. So yeah… gonna max out my brain cells next year! So yeah… by the way… happy new year to everyone, no matter where you are. Let’s hope it’s an enjoyable year waiting for you ahead. Err… you would have probably seen this in your mailbox so for those who didn’t receive it, here it is. Well.. I tried very hard sneaking to everyone’s blog to peek for their email addresses but well… some were plain mysterious so yeah, just wanna wish you guys a Happy New Year. |
Jinggle Bell… jinggle bell…. Wokay… Christmas is near, I’m excited but not entirely happy. I dunno why. Probably I am a confused person. Hehe… but I can’t wait.. to open up presents and all. Yeay… I like Christmas… probably coz of the deco’s the tree and an excuse to buy myself something. Yeah.. knowing myself, I will buy something for myself. Anyway… Merry Christmas and hope you all design and have a special Christmas. Now… okay… as you may think and wonder how come the designs look so familiar…. this is the theme and style for the year.. and had been carried out in printed cards and all. So yes… you will see them in your mail box, gift tags.. blah blah blah… What should I do for next year? Any ideas? |
I am back! I got TAGGED by may with a newest style of tagging.
Nowadays memes are more advanced and challenging as it is no longer about just answering questions.
What caught my attention on this meme was it’s theme on colours.
My favourite colour as all know was PURPLE and any hues between purple to PINK.
I think it is quite obvious given my previous blog skin had a hint of purple mixed with pink.
However, when I was at a house warming party yesterday, someone suddenly ask if I like green colour.
They mentioned they saw me wearing a lot of green coloured top recently, hence that is why the question.
I was shocked 😲 to hear that too. Do I like green? Really?
I think I like any and have a lot of different colour tops.
So yes, GREEN is the new black!
1. I totally love the light green colour on the Qoo White Grape Juice can. The colour was so vibrant and catchy and I find it very lovely and cute 😍. Don’t you all think so?
2. My love for Sailor Jupiter will never die. My sister gifted me a set of Sailormoon character figurines as my birthday present.

8. How many kids do you want?
I don’t want to have any. It’s too painful!
One of those random days where I am too lazy to do any photo montages.
And all I want to do is just write, do some typography and play with some colours.
I am different which makes me weird.
At least that is what I would like to believe. Believe that I am by default born different, live in my very own little world and practice mand-ism. And living in this small world by myself makes it even harder to share the same thoughts, and even the air that we are breathing together. And this of course resulted to me being seen as weird.
Many people I know used to describe me as WEIRD. And every attempt to justify just put myself into a worst position. And at times, it got me thinking if being different is a crime?
I am not pretty which makes me cute.
Come to think of it, it never came across my mind that I was the pretty kind. Not that I am humble.. just I think I am the cute kind. Haha… okay… maybe I forgot to put the word “pretend to be” in front of the word cute.
I know, I know… I am too old to still pretend to be cute. But I just can’t help it! And I don’t see anything wrong with pretending to be cute. It’s just me and I am not forcing you to, so don’t judge!
I am talkative which makes me a crapper.
Yes, I can be if I want to. If you don’t feel it, then that means we are not close enough.
In general, I talk a lot to my close friends to some point I will annoy the hell out of them.
I speak up which makes me bold.
This is not something I always do, because I believe in second chances. So if you hear me speak up, you are either unlucky or just annoying.
I would advice you to never ever try provoking me to speak up when I have no intention of saying. I will either rock your believes or bring you on a tour to see the other side of the world.
I am cheeky which makes me notti.
Haha.. I was born in the year of the monkey, what do you expect!
It’s in the blood and born with it thingy. At least in my parents heart, I will be the cheeky and notti one.
I am not sensible which makes me not reasonable.
While I try hard to control my sensibility, by nature I am not. Many things I say and think are not justifiable by any sense or reasons. I will just do things I feel like doing.
I think too much which makes me over sensitive.
Thinking is something I do, but it does not always translate to a well thought through process or solutions and even words. Why you may ask? And the answer to that would be, the emotional side of me overpowered my rational side.
Small little things will actually provoke me to re-think or start thinking. Well, I think I over think stuffs at times, trying to think and look at things in a different perspective. But one common thing will appear along this thinking process, friends will pass a passing remark that you are overly sensitive when you try to analyze a matter and thought to them. And I used to feel annoyed with that. But I have came to a conclusion that, they do not feel it because they have not see what I have seen, or they have not think of what I have thought.
I believe in destiny but I forsee possibilities.
It has been a long battle in the belief between destiny and human will. I use to think that if I didn’t make an action, nothing will ever take place. But well, as years goes by, I sort of come to a conclusion that everything and anything has it’s time and place which was pre-destined. But any new step or actions you make will create a different possibilities.
