I am back to summarize my Hong Kong trip before you see it again probably in 1/2 years time. Anyway. Yes… Hong Kong is a fun fun fun place to visit. Many people tell me there isn’t much to see in Hong Kong and 2-3 days is enough to finish visiting the place. I wonder if they walk too fast, I walk too slow or probably they have been to many other places that Hong Kong seems boring to them… or probably they have been there gazillion times. For me… hemm… a week seems too short. I doubt if I even manage to conquer 20% of what’s in Hong Kong. It’s really not as small as I always thought it would be. But trust me… I guess TVB did manage to cover almost all places in Hong Kong. Why would I say that? My parents… sister and cousin keep telling me, eh.. one of the TVB shot the movie here.. and here… and here… and there… and there. At the end of probably day 2… I would just say… tell me when u see a spot where none of the shows/movie was shot there. Now that would really interest me. Of course I didn’t meet Andy Lau in person… sigh.. due to his busy schedules and concert for the 10 years anniversary of Hong Kong returning to China. It’s really a coincidence but happy thing that I am apart of the celebration. It’s really cool to be there at that moment (okay… minus the amount of people). Lan Kwai Fong is not as er…. empty as I thought it would be. Not to be exact empty… but.. less people. The moment I reach there… it was like a damn happening street, with all the bars and clubs filled with people. Of course we manage to get a place… hang out a moment, take some pics which obviously caught some people’s attention. Hemm… yes… a few people try just so hard to make it in to my photos. Oh yes, did I mention I was addicted to toys and the hemmm… what do you call that… vending machines that has toys stores in a egg shape capsule. Oh yeah… those are pretty much addictive and I manage to fill my bag full every night with those stuff. So yeah, I have loads and loads of mini figures to decorate my glass shelf. Not to mention I bought a lot of toys. Of course I can’t miss Hong Kong’s pride, the Ocean Park and Disneyland! Both big parks which got me burn all my calories and for sure fats. Yes, dreams come true for me. Now… if only I get to meet Andy in Disneyland! Double dream come true! Lantau Island was great. I really enjoy looking at the big buddha. Now.. in Thai, they keep pester me to see the big buddha but I didn’t bother. Now you know why huh? As for Macau… I totally love it.. love it… love it. It seriously resembles Malacca and I could stay there like forever. Okay… probably not forever. Then again… I think it’s too short of a trip for me to see everything in Macau. I will probably return to visit more and try their food. Portugese food rocks man! Not to mention their famous egg tart and serradura. It’s a shame to say that you have been to Macau but never tried any of these. Then again… one can always blame it on the casinos. Oh yeah, I am proud to say, I have been to the spot where Goong (Princess Hours) shot their Macau scene. I went to the church where they both got married. Sat at the place where Shin sat while waiting for Chae Gyeung to come with the egg tart. La la la… yes, I am surely a Goong fans huh. Need I say, we really do our research! Don’t play play! |
Wonderful Hong Kong~
